OMNI CABINETS

We used Omni Cabinets located in Scottsdale to design a complete, new custom kitchen in our home. We also purchased the cabinetry from them and they also provided the installation services. The design process was very smooth, but the problems began during the installation phase. Omni cabinets promised us, and we contracted for a specific brand of cabinetry that Omni recommended. Omni did not tell us that they never used this specific cabinet manufacturer before. Had they done that, we would not have agreed to this manufacturer's cabinets. They made us the guinea pig. Omni had multiple problems with this cabinet line, but they did recommend it. In a nut shell we never received our full complete order, and our project went on for 10 months. During that time, we were without a fully functioning kitchen. Omni promised us the job would take four months. Because the cabinet order kept shipping incorrectly (I believe this happened three times) Omni had to substitute cabinets from a second, local manufacturer. The two types of cabinets used for our kitchen don't match, and our kitchen looks horrible. We asked Omni to take out the bad cabinets and replace them with matching cabinets. They basically refused to do that. Additionally, they refused to ever come back and finish our job, align the doors and perform proper door spacing. The job they did is basically poor and shoddy. We have a mix and match kitchen with multiple door colors and functions. It is a bad scene. Because Omni never came back to finish the job, we did not make our final payment to them of course. When they tried to collect their money, they filed an illegal and falsified mechanics lein form on our house. They basically ignored the rules of a mechanics lein, and put in a phony filing date to make it look like they were following the rules. They eventually removed the mechanics lien from our house when they realized that they were going to get fined $5000.00 for filing a false mechanics lien. Now they have their lawyers writing us letters trying to collect their final payment when they still have not finished the job. How is that for customer service?
