Mac Masters

Very disappointing.  I had provided the company with a written list of the problems that I was having on a Mac computer.  Knowing what needed to be done, they still sent a technician that seemed incapable and not fully trained.  He could not solve most of the problems on the list.  I subsequently called competitor MacMedia locally, and their technician was fully capable of addressing the issues with ease.  I asked MacMasters for my money back, but they said they don't refund for services if the technician spends time on a visit.  (So, if the technician is not capable to do the job, the customer still pays?  They said yes, no refund.  Seems a lot like buying a defective product, and the company not standing behind it.)  They charge the typical $125 per hour, but they have a two hour minimum PLUS a $45 service call.  Their competitor MacMedia also charges $125 per hour, no minimum time other than the first hour, and no travel charge.  And you get a capable technician.  I would advise others to call someone other than MacMasters for computer needs on a Mac.
