I am going through a health care exchange. I don't have a new doctor yet. I have gone to Lifescape Medical for many, many years. I have always been happy with going there and they are not part of the exchange. One of the girls at the front desk had told me that the new health care exchange was part of their network that Lifescape was in their network and it did not turn out to be true so I got stuck with 2 doctor bills out of my pocket. The doctors are great but the girl up front really messed up. They are always available, they have extended house including Saturdays. They are pretty good on the punctuality. The staff is good except for that one girl upfront that made the mistake. They are pretty good on the communication. I would use them if they fell under the new network. I wouldn’t be leaving if it was under the exchange.

This practice will try to sell you a bunch of supplements. I am on board with the idea of good nutrition and exercise being essential to good health. I am not okay with doctors who don't want to treat my medical problems and try to sell me supplements while condescending to me. This doctor didn't even ask me why I thought it was central hypothyroidism. I would have told her that I got the information from the Mayo Clinic website. And my endocrinologist took one look at my lab results and agreed. Of course, he went through the right diagnostic procedures and ruled out some other issues, too.
As for the folks at Lifescape, I'm sure that, after making me eat a very restricted diet, had my cholesterol had still been elevated, they would have been happy to treat that with Lipitor or other cholesterol-lowering medication. But untreated hypothyroidism causes high cholesterol.
I will say, to be fair, I don't pay $3000 a year for their concierge plan. Maybe if I did that I would have rated actual medical treatment.

She is very busy and I believe that she is not taking new patients. I never have to sit around and wait for my appointment. The clinic is amazing. She is open to holistic medicine too.

They limit their patients to 300 a year, and they charge a certain fee. I can text, email, call, walk in, and the doctor we have is phenomenal, and she has about 7 physicians. It is not cheap, but it is superb.  Susan Wilder is our doctor, and she is so far ahead of everybody else. She is expensive. I asked her when my next heart attack would be, and she said that if I stick with her, and I will never have one. She is above and beyond what you would expect. She is just so passionate about taking care of people.

So, I had my visit with my physician Dr. Valderhaug. She is a lovely person, and a caring physician. But referred me to the ER when I got sick. She SOLD me Probiotics and a chocolate food supplement. I could not eat food without severe nausea and vomiting and the runs. So, its finally over. I just spent 3 days in the hospital. Had all the fun testing to find that I have no cancer, and no issues with my other GI organs. Just very severe irritable bowel syndrome. That's really good to know. So, the hospitalist referred me to a GI doc that specializes in this syndrome. YEA!!! Nothing to say about Lifescape, but good--bye. In their favor--they did refund my $3000.

My first appointment with Dr. Valderhaug was a and quot;meet and greetand quot;. That lasted a long time, and was very positive and informative. I came home feeling very good about my medical care. I didn't mind paying the $3000/yr for my concierge physician.
Then came reality. I got very sick with an unknown GI problem. I came to see Dr. V and she gave me a semi-physical, with breast exam, some basic neurological tests, some Probiotics and a dietary supplement . She also gave me some business cards for breast doctors. She kept leaving the exam room--I don't know why.
She referred me across the parking lot to a GI doctor named Dr. Kazi. He did an endoscopy the next day. Showed Gastritis. Still having symptoms of nausea and vomiting I decided to go to the Mayo clinic.
Finally some answers. The Mayo clinic doctors did an abdominal ultrasound all with contrast, MRI of kidneys and pancreas and abdomen. So, I have all my answers. Severe Diverticulitis. Finally getting good medical care.
For the healthy person Lifescape is fine. But, if you are sick go to some real practicing physicians.

They were very nice and got me in for Tinnitus quickly. Dr. King and an NP student really took the time to listen to my issues and tried very hard to assess the situation accurately. Then to my astonishment they followed up a week later to make sure that I was getting better and to remind me to call a ear nose and throat specialist (which they gave recommendations on) if I wasn't. In all, a very nice experience and one that leads me to recommend this practice and doctor very enthusiastically. I will definitely be back.

They have a very nice office, the staff is good and he covered all the basics. I had a colonoscopy done and I'm going back to take a test for my vitamins. I think he's very patient.

Both Dr William Strohman and his PA, Norm are simply excellent! I have been in for several visits now, and have always been seen on time, never felt rushed, and always felt the treatment was the very best! The clinic itself is well organized, open and inviting, meticulously clean, friendly, a delightful environment. I cannot recommend the clinic highly enough!

I studied the Lifescape web site and was impressed with the bios of the doctors on staff. I called the office and asked questions about the insurance they accepted, particularly Medicare, and made an appointment a couple of days in the future. Dr. Strohman was assigned to me and I arrived early to complete the paperwork associated with becoming a new patient. Their facility is excellent and the admin staff extremely courteous and friendly. Dr. Strohman saw me exactly on time and reviewed my medical history and did a mini-physical to evaluate my back pain. Since I had had my annual physical only 3 months before this visit no blood work was done. I feel like I'm in the care of a very good doctor and look forward to this long term relationship.

Lifescape Medical Associates are a group of five physicians. One is a DO and the others are MDs. They have a Physician's Assistant, a nutritionist and a dietary specialist. Once you're an established patient, it's usually pretty easy to get in to see a doctor, but if you can't see your doctor, you can almost always get in to see the Physician's Assistant. We've been real happy there. They're very professional, very thorough and all of them have great bedside manners.

I had help checking in at the front desk, I waited about 15 minutes and was brought back to a room. within another 8-10 minutes the doc was in seeing me. I had my exam and then had blood drawn. I then left.

He seemed knowledgeable and he took his time with me.  He was very easy to communicate with.  I didn’t have to wait 45 minutes to get in to see him.  He just kind of forced me to revisit but he seemed to be thorough.  He seemed to know his stuff.  He charges some annual fee.

. Its an old one and has a bunch of different doctors in the location. It's very serene and clean in there and it is very comfortable and a very friendly environment. There is an annual fee of about USD 65, there is a lab on site for drawing blood. It is in a medical plaza and it has all the facilities. I have never had a bad experience or any issues with them.

I'm very happy with Lifescape Medical! I see Dr. Strohman and he is always professional, kind and detailed oriented. More importantly I feel he does not over treat with too many tests that are not needed--which my last doctor always did for the simplest visit. He dictates every word you say and remembers your last visit and follow-up. It is easy to schedule an appointment, staff is friendly and the waiting room is very tranquil. This is a highly trained professional group of medical providers that enjoy their jobs. Highly recommend!

She is on time, highly focused and yet completely keeps you at ease. I like that she takes her own notes on her notebook computer while she meets with you, and much more.  Last visit, she gave me injections for an autoimmune skin problem and was sensitive to whether the injections were hurting me because they were at my scalp.  She's one of my favorite doctors of all time.
