What started off as a positive interaction soon started to decline as project manager repeatedly did not, would not do what he said he was going to do. After payment, it was discovered that some pretty shoddy work was done. Example, AC stand which is supposed screwed down with lag screws was simply nailed in place haphazardly and shingles under the stand pushed up to allow exposure to the wood underneath. When I provided pictures of the pathetic work, I would get the worthless promises to come fix the problems. Don't hold your breath!

The sewing of the roof was done adequately. That’s about the only positive thing to say. They didn’t replace roof tiles after the job was over which caused a leak in the house. I called and they claimed they could t make it back due to rain. It rained once and it was the time I saw the leak. So that’s BS. Then they showed up to my house with no warning and went into my backyard to get on the roof and replace the tiles. Thankfully I had pictures. They tried to play it off like nothing was wrong. Will NEVER use them again.

Crew showed up, did the work promptly. House looks great. We will use Jack the Roofer again, this is about the 5th house he has re-roofed fro us. Great company and people to deal with!

I have had problems with flapping noises due to improper flashing installation, poorly matched replacement tiles and leaking due to improper flashing installation and numerous gaps in placing flashing and tiles. Roof not sealed properly. Owner won’t honor his 10 yr warranty. Won’t make any further attempts to rectify problems. I need to have a new roof after just 3 years. Don’t trust this company.

They provided a quote within 24 hours. The workers showed up on time and worked very efficiently. They cleaned up when they were finished. The work was high quality. Would use again.

Once they started the job went very well. We had problems with rain forecast and the schedule needed to be changed a few times. Communication could have been better but the price and quality was very good. I would recommend this company to anyone needing a replacement roof.

My home inspector recommended these guys so I thought they were reliable. I had them repair 2 parts of my roof both of them flat parts. Once the repair was done they had to come back out and repair it again within 6 months. Getting them back out to do the repair for the second time was very frustrating. It took quite an effort to get them back out here. It has now been 2.5 years just long enough for it to be out of warranty and the same exact spots that they repaired are leaking again. I was charged 1200 for this repair by Jack the Roofer.
I had another roofer that was recommended to me come out and it cost me 600 from him to do the exact same repair Jack the Roofer did for 1200.

"The repairs that were performed at the listed address were done to and older existing system. The system on this home is a flat roofing system. These systems do require more maintenance than other types of systems as they rely heavily on some type of roof cement or adhesive at certain locations. Our extreme weather does reek havoc on these sealants. We understand the frustration caused by our inability to return to revisit the repaired areas in a timely manor , however we did return and the repairs made by our company did last 2 years after they were completed, the length of the warranty provide by our company. As stated this was NOT a new system installed by our company, and a 2 year warranty is the industry standard for such repairs. In regards to the new repair done to the roof by another contractor, at half the cost, to say that they did the exact same thing is inaccurate. There are multiple different methods of repairs used on these systems and it is impossible without a itemized breakdown to determine if the same service was received. Chances are there could possibly be a complaint in regards to this company in the future......."

I would highly recommend Jack the Roofer for your roofing needs. Our experience with this company was positive. Jack is professional and shows pride in his workmanship. Job was done professionally, cleaned up, and in a timely manner. This was the third time we have used Jack for our roofing needs on multiple properties. We always take several bids and Jack is very competitively priced. Would definitely use this company again.

My real estate agent orignally recommended Jack the Roofer, and after my initial call I had to follow-up at least 4 times to get someone out to my house. Once they came, however, they were polite, professional, and seemed to do good work.

REPLACED TILES THAT WERE NOT BROKEN ON OUR ROOF. WAS REFERRED BY OUR REALTOR, BUT WE KNEW, FROM THE ESTIMATE THAT SOMETHING WAS FISHY. WE TOOK DIGITAL PHOTOS TO PROVE OUR CASE IN COURT. THREATENED TO PUNCH US OUT WHEN HE WAS CONFRONTED WITH THE PROOF, AND WOULD NOT REDUCE HIS BILL!!!
