The vet came back and said that our dog could be gagging due to the fact that they tried to hold him up on a table. She said he was flailing around so the put him back on the floor . I have never known a vet to take a 100+ lb dog up on a table to put in a few stitches when they are wide awake. I tend to believe that someone had to hold him pretty tightly around his neck to get him to have that gag reflex for so long after he was brought back to the room. He has been to a vet many times, and has never needed to be held down for anything. He's a 7 month old puppy.
I would not recommend this place. We will go back to get the stitches removed, however, that will be it.
