Hilltop Remodeling

I used them and it turned out to be a nightmare last year for a major remodel in my home. I actually had to hire an attorney to resolve matters with him. I would love to warn people away from that guy because he is a total scam artist. The owner's name is Aaron Kerscher. He did the job. He said it would take two months and 30000 dollars wherein it took 9 months and cost 80000 dollars. He didn't pay his sub-contractors and the sub-contractors were trying to leave my house after I paid him. So, I had to get an attorney, re-issue joint checks to make sure he paid the sub-contractors. It was just really ugly and I was afraid of him. He was emotionally unstable. He was out of my house screaming and yelling at me because I insisted on joint check because sub-contractors weren't being paid. It was a horrible, horrible experience. He started the job in January of 2009 and the issues got resolved just last week. So, it was basically almost a year of nightmare. He actually only worked on the house about eight months out of that year but it was supposed to be a two months job. It was awful. On top of it all, he came in to fix leaking windows and I still have a leaking window. The price was pretty high. I would never use him in future and would like to warn people not to let him into their homes.
