Aaron Doran met with us at our house to discuss the options for installing a wine cellar and to have us describe what we wanted from the cellar. Arron returned with a design for a climate controlled, glass enclosed cellar that would store approximately 600 bottles in walnut racking. With a few minor tweaks, we put down the deposit for them to start work. A couple weeks after we approved the design, Heritage Vine began the work. This involved the following. 1. Remove the existing bench from the arch where the cellar will be placed. 2. Remove the partial travertine tiles that abbutted the bench. 3. Remove the drywall from the walls and ceiling of the arch. 4. Install vapor barrier surrounding entire arch. 5. Install ductwork for climate control system. 6. Install new drywall, spackle, sand, and paint. 7. Install new, full size travertine tiles to match existing flooring. 8. Hone and polish new travertine tiles to match existing flooring. 9. Install climate control system. 10. Install racking and trim. 11. Install glass walls and doors. Heritage Vine had one or more people here every day of the project, performing most of the work. They built the racking themselves in their Tempe shop and assembled it on site. Their team also did all of the demolition, drywall and tile installation. For the parts of the work that they did not do, themselves, they managed the subcontractors for glass, climate control, and travertine polishing. Everyone involved was entirely professional and friendly. The work was done quickly and cleaned up at the end of each day. The result is a beautiful wine cellar that we are happy to use and proud to show off to our friends.

This was the second time I used Heritage vine to build a wine cellar. They did the buildout just prior to my family moving into a new home. They were able to schedule the buildout to be completed just prior to move in. Jamie has always been very attentive to details and listens closely to what I want. This particular wine cellar was a challenge as it required tearing down an existing wall and placing the cooling system on the roof. Jamie was spot on with time period required for the buildout and the construction went on without any significant hitches. His workers are very professional and prompt and I have not had any complaints after two separate projects with them. I feel that I have a world-class cellar and received the highest quality available. I would recommend Jamie and his company in a heartbeat!
