Mixed experience. Rates & fees were great, but customer service was lacking. They seem to assume a great deal of knowledge on the part of their clientele, which may be appropriate given their business model; however, does this mean they have to be rude and abrupt? Our rep didn t share key info (like if you want to lock in a rate, you have to call by a certain time of day). She didn t return calls timely or sometimes at all. My reasonable requests (like a copy of the appraisal) were sometimes treated as inappropriate. At closing, there were a number of issues with the papers additional funds we were putting down weren t noted. A name was spelled wrong (how hard is it to spell Michael?). We were using the title company they typically use, so these issues were quickly fixed. Still, it caused closing to be longer & more stressful. I would probably use them again, but only if the deal was as good (I m willing to put up with some frustration if it means saving lots of money!).
