Description of Work: Repaired all perimeter areas, re-caulk edges, and color stain sealed the master shower. Also scrubbed travertine floors and sealed with 511 Impregnator.

 + -1 moreOur initial phone contact with Rob was positive. He said all the right things to inspire confidence. He came out and replaced some of the grout on the countertop with several different grout colors so we could make our selection. He agreed to do the work over a weekend. He returned the following week to seal the grout using a 15-yr. product. When the regrouting was done and we started using the shower again, we discovered numerous tiles where the corners or edges had been chipped off. We tagged 70 areas with damage. Rob acted surprised to see all the tags. He offered a free steaming cleaning and resealing (over the 15 yr. sealer?) in a year to compensate us, which left us incredulous. The sealer apparently wasn't adequately applied because six months after the work, the grout still turns dark when wetted. (He initially said that it needed to cure.) The grout along the bottom in the shower has begun to fall out. We plan to hire someone who is competent to replace all of the tile.
Description of Work: We hired Rob Palmer to replace old grout and caulk in our sink and tub surround and in the shower in the master bath. He also replaced the grout around the sink in our second bathroom. He sealed the grout with a 15-year sealer. He also replaced a few tiles on the bathroom counter. He set four base tiles in our kitchen.
