This is the third time I have visited GemTime. The original leather band with my watch finally gave up the ghost. So I visited GemTime about a month ago and purchased a simple black vinyl watch band and George installed it. I didn't care for it, returned to him and he replaced it with a similar band which fit better. He refused my offer to pay.again.
My watch is a limited edition model with a low number and a very specific leather alligator band. So I ordered direct from the manufacturer and presto! - I received the band in three days! I went back to George today and he graciously installed it and refused my sincere offer to pay him for installing it.
I am a retired business owner. I learned early on if a customer/client was unhappy I would always hear about it. Always. But if everything went smoothly, not so much. As in, hardly ever.
I have had three outstanding customer experiences with GemTime and George Danayan. Businesses like this are the backbone of our American economy. GemTime has a very select inventory of fine watches and gems and George Danayan is a hard-working entrepreneur. GemTime would be my first stop the next time I'm looking to purchase a fine watch or jewelry.
