Estancia Landscaping

Description of Work: We called Estancia to do a landscape design for both the front and back yards. They were always prompt, always prepared and ready to do the presentation. Granted, we did not know EXACTLY what we wanted, but then that's why we hired them to give us some ideas. Brian was very nice and listed to some of the ideas that we had, we paid the deposit and set an appointment to look over the plans. They allow one set of changes in the initial plans. Brian came back and presented his ideas, and we made changes that we would like to see. Specifically, we were not pleased with the outdoor kitchen that he had designed. We wanted a real kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, etc and did not want it to be seen from the front door of the house. His suggestion was a curved bar that had a BBQ pit and a place to have drinks. He took our suggestions and brought back the set of changes. During this time he told us of the plant placement for the plants that we had chosen. The design just wasn't anything that we would implement and it was obvious to us that while his intentions were the best, he just didn't understand what we wanted to accomplish. To keep him from feeling bad, we just told him that the plan was fine. We felt that his suggestions for a neighborhood house would be spot on, but that for a custom house on a large piece of property, it just wasn't going to work. If you live in a neighborhood, they can give you a great plan- his knowledge of plants is amazing. If you live on a large piece of horse property, this may not be for you.

Description of Work: We have used Estancia Landscaping for 6 years to maintain our backyard. The come out on a weekly basis.
