Diamond Glass and Mirror

Arrived on time for both the estimate and the installation. Were very professional and work space was left immaculate. Finished product looks beautiful and matches other bronze finished in the bathroom perfectly.

Called several companies to get a quote for a frameless glass shower door, and needed it quickly to coincide with the timing of the shower flooring and tile work. Several agreed, but later cancelled but Diamond showed up quickly, at the time as promised, provided a reasonable cost estimate and was very easy to work with during the scheduling process. Their installers were extremely professional, put down cloths and protection from the front door to the master bath because it was raining the day of installation, and did a great job installing. Overall, great provider at a fair cost I'd work with again.

The process of getting a quote (immediate) and fabricated and installed was a smooth as it could be. Diamond was also very accommodating to our needs to reschedule install twice do to some other shower-related repairs. The installers were very pleasant, informative, clean quick. All around great experience.

Did a great job!

I did my research and had five critical items, then asked four businesses to give me a bid. Diamond Glass and Mirror was not the lowest, but my tile guy had used them before and thought they did a good job.
Criteria: Frameless, water shield, selection of clamps (definitely wanted curved to match my faucets), no outstanding issues with bureau of contractors and representative personable. Each contractor was asked the same questions.
Shower doors installed 12/5, but small panel did not have hole for robe/towel hook - new panel had to be ordered. The claps were not the rounded edges I expected, but the installer said that is what he was given.
Room painting delayed use until 12/8 Leaks beneath all claps - water going under clamps to exterior tile area. Since they had to bring a new panel, I asked that the clamps be replaced. Besides the edges of the and quot;standardand quot; ones are rather sharp. While cleaning off the water that came thru, I nicked my knuckle.
12/18 all panels removed, new clamps installed, new panel with robe/towel hook installed and re-caulked. I will say that the caulking job is very poor. There are places where the caulk protrudes in a lump and places where my finger can feel the edge of the glass and an indentation. First shower tomorrow - hope it does not leak.
Plan to clean up the caulking and re-caulk soon. Maybe sooner if it leaks again.
Professionalism: Friendly but after both visits there was caulk, razor blades, and other trash on the floor - even though they used pads.

Overall, it went well. Glenn came out to take measurements, offer options, and come up with an estimate. The estimate was a little higher than another company we had come in but Glenn made the difference. He was thorough and offered ideas that we hadn't thought of. We had just bought the house and knew the leaky partly corroded shower enclosure in the master bath had to be replaced. The new enclosure consisted of a swinging door and a side panel. A towel bar was added to the side panel. The glass type is rainglass. The frame is brushed nickel. It is a small enclosure. My wife hates sliding glass doors so we had them remove them from the bathtub in the guest bathroom. It took less than 10 days from the time of accepting the offer until the 2 man crew arrived for the installation. There is a lot of grunt work involved in installing the enclosure so if you're looking for installers wearing spiffy uniforms you might want to look elsewhere. Alex and Mark showed up on time and went right to work. They first removed the sliding doors in the guest bath and then removed the enclusre in the master bath. Then came a couple of problems. As they were installing the frame for the new enclosure they discovered that part of the framework was missing. Arrangements were made to come back another day to finish the job. They returned as scheduled. The framework was finished. They then went to install the door and saw that the hinge was installed on the wrong side of the door. When they removed the hinge they discovered that the glass door panel had a chip in one of the corners. Their reaction and respose was immediate - they apologized and said and quot;you're getting a new doorand quot;. It wasn't a big chip and wasn't a danger so they installed the glass door so we could use the shower. The replacement door arrived a week later and was installed without any more problems. The new enclosure looks great. Yes, there were problems but Diamond Glass handled them promptly and made sure everything was right. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

These guys were great. They offered me the least expensive quote and seemed pretty down to earth, so it was a no-brainer to go with them. Because the glass was tempered, they had to order it, so it took a couple days, but they called me as soon as it was ready. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely use them again.

Diamond Glass was able to provide me with an estimate on the phone which was less than 2 other Angie's List A service providers. I had a short time frame (1 week) for getting the glass measured, then back to have it replaced - Diamond Glass was very responsive, came out and measured within 1 day of my call, replaced the glass 3 days later. I really appreciate their fast service and great quality.

They are outstanding. They were great. They showed up on time. They did the installation and everything was done at a very high level. There was nothing to complain about.

This is the second time I have used Diamond Glass and they are wonderful to work with. From the phone staff to the free in-home estimate to the installers - they are professional, courteous, on-time, and do a fantastic job. Their prices are fair, their work is near perfection. And that is something coming me as I am the wife of a former builder. I would use them again and would recommend them highly to all my family and friends!

Very well

They replaced a large mirror in the master bath that I had cracked. The mirror had to come out in pieces. These guys did a great job in removing the old mirror. Whe they installed the new mirror ARmando saw a scratch. They immediately ordered a new mirror but allowed us to us the scratched mirror until the new one arrived. Both times these gusy came out they were professional and efficient. They did great work at a great price.

As with the other part of the job, the tile work, it was text book perfect. I would use them again and have no problem recommending them to my friends.

Estimate was done the day after I called. Glass was installed a day sooner than anticipated. Very pleased with finished project.

THIS COMPANY REPLACED GLASS IN AN UNUSUALLY SHAPED MASTER SHOWER. THEY WERE ABLE TO CUT THE GLASS VERY ACCURATELY, USING LESS SEAMS THAN HAD BEEN THERE PRIOR. THE COMPANY HAD TO COME BACK TO FIX A PROBLEM AND DID SO PROMPTLY.
