+ -1 moreThe overall service was professional, cost effective, prompt, and communication was excellent. I was wary since there were so few private fire sprinkler repair and installation companies out there and was worried standards would not be met. I was glad to see that everything was done well. They even checked my water pressure when I told them I was worried about it being too low. Mike gave me tips on how to fix problem and even referred me to a plumber who deals with it! I was surprised that they were helpful even when not the problem they came to fix. Best of all, they have 24 hour availability if an emergency. I would gladly use them again and recommend them based on their work.
Description of Work: My indoor fire sprinkler was leaking. I tried to call company who installed the fire sprinkler but they had a nonworking number. I did an internet search and found it difficult to find a company that dealt with my problem. Most companies deal with commercial fire sprinklers. I was eventually referred to Dew's Fire Protection. They have been around since the 1980s. They did have an option for emergency needs but my issue was not emergent and I left a message on their voicemail. At 7am, I got a call from Don Dew. I told him the problem and he promptly had his service person contact me named Mike. Mike came and fixed the problem which included a broken part that had cracked near the head of the sprinkler. He had to cut a 1 foot by 1 foot hole in the drywall in the ceiling as I had no attic access. He replaced the part and fixed the leak in about 1 hour.
