Comfort World Air Conditioning & Heating

I will never use Comfort World.  Comfort World could not do in 4 days what Noble Refrigeration did in less than 2 hours.  (Comfort World was assigned by my insurance company FBFS).  Comfort World started the job on 7/5 and when the handler motor burned out on 7/7, Comfort World pointed to just about every component in the handler to replace, and even replace the entire A/C system.  I heard so many things from Comfort World, I gave up on them and decided to get an Angies List contractor instead.  So I called Noble Refrigeration.  On 7/10, John from Noble found the drain spout in 1 minute, vacuumed the drain which still was clogged with crud after Comfort World had tried, he fixed the drain so the elbow would not accumulate crud, and replaced the motor.  If the tech from Comfort World was not so inept, he could have fixed the problem on 7/5 and we would not have a burned out A/C motor, drywall torn out, living without upstairs A/C for days, relocating to a hotel, taking time away from my job to deal with these inept contractors from Comfort World (& Sliverton Contractors for water damage, who also cannot finish what the insurance company hired them to do).    

I was given a time frame for the appointment of between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.  The serviceman arrived at 11:15 am.  He examined the filter which we had just replaced and said it was a good brand (Filtrete).  Then he climbed on the roof (A/C unit is there) and serviced the unit.  When he was finished he gave me a checklist of everything that was checked, including the pressure in the unit.  He also noted that some on the insulation of the thermostat wire was brittle and that he had taped that up.

Great! Everything that this A/C company did was great! They got in on time after I made the appointment. They performed the job, and they told me what to do to improve the performance of my unit. They also cleaned up after themselves which was really good. They did a very clean service.
