Clear As Crystal Pool Service

He is a gem. Tom is the doggonest provider that you are apt to run into. In every case where I've had a problem, he has gone out of his way to try to fix it over the phone and without charging me a thing. He will stay on the phone 45 minutes telling me different things I can do and talking me through things, all in an effort to avoid costing me money. At one point he came out to change my pump because it had gone bad. He last had to come out because the suction was poor and I wasn't able to find the solution so he came out and fixed that. He also fixed one other thing and it was just the cost of the basic service call. He knows exactly what he is doing and he knows something about every pump and setup that is imaginable and there are lots of them. He is really, really good and I can't say enough good things about him.

The last time I had him come and do some work for me was a couple of years ago, but I have been in touch with him since then, and he has helped me solve some problems over the telephone. He answers my calls immediately or within minutes usually, even if he is at home and it is after hours. I had already gone through a checklist of things that could be wrong, but none of those solved the problem. I called Tom home to see about him coming out to fix it in person, and he said he did not want to take my money unnecessarily. He gave me a couple of additional things to check, which I did, and they solved the problem. He and I were on the phone from his home for maybe half an hour. I had the same experience when I had him replace my pool pump a couple of years ago, and in that case, he was on the phone with me for two long sessions trying to see if I could fix it without him having to come out and replace an expensive pool pump; in that case, I actually did have a need for a pool pump. He took care of that at a good price and did a first rate job. I would endorse him and would continue to use him in the future.

I used him and was delighted with his work. He does a little bit of everything and he really goes out of his way to give good service. When I called him, he took the call at home on a weekend and talked to me for a good half hour about different things I could do to try to restore it and isolate the problem. Then he called me back again to talk about it some more and tried his best to help me revive my old pump. When all that failed, he came out, checked it out and got me a new one at well below the going rate for those things and did a really first rate installation job on it.

Tom Boyd cleans my pool as if it is his own pool. He is great! I feel that my pool is really safe to swim in with his care. He keeps my pool sparkley clean. He really shows how much he cares through his work.
