We have a pack of 6 dogs and began experiencing tick infestations in fall 2004. Contracted with another pest control company for periodic spraying which was not working. See report by me dated 9/23/06. In frustration, I went to Bug & Weed Mart and was told a single periodic spraying would not work because it would not affect ticks that were in eggs. They recommended a spray once a week for three weeks in a row. The pest control company was charging $95 for a single spray; I got the concentrate (enough for 3 sprays), instructions and sprayer for $65. I sprayed the three times in early October, now 7 months ago, and have not experienced an infestation since. Ticks would be back within 2 months after the single sprays by the pest control company. I have been going to this Bug & Weed Mart off and on for more than 20 years for a variety of problems, and they have generally come up with a satisfactory solution.
