BLACKHAWK FLOORS

The work went really well, and we're totally satisfied. They're really top-notch, by-the-book flooring guys who charge a fair price and plug into the top flooring manufacturers. They take their work very seriously. Especially in the early going, they were incredibly helpful steering our decisions about what kind of flooring to opt for. They can clearly explain why you should consider solid hardwood or engineered woods. I would highly recommend these guys, especially if you're looking at premium flooring that you hope will last for a generation or two.

I had 5 different flooring companies provide estimates. I checked to see if all of them are members of AZ BBB. # of the 5 are. From there I read all of the reviews both here at Angie's List and online and made the choice to use Blackhawk. A choice I absolutely do not regret. It went better than expected.  The crew was on-time, polite, respectful, thorough, clean, punctual and my two crazy dogs loved them! I worked from home the three days it took to do the work and was able to conduct business as usual without any interruptions. My favorite part of the whole process was their clean-up. They left my nothing to have to clean! I highly recommend Blackhawk to anyone thinking about making a flooring change. When I am ready to change my master bedroom and closet I will use them again without hesitation. 
Thank you Blackhawk for such a wonderful job. I LOVE my new floors (the pups not so much as they slip-and-slide around now!).

Spoke to Jeff on the phone and set up a time for him to give me an estimate.  He called when he was on his way, was on time and was able set up a time to do the work within a few days.  The work is done and my floor looks like new again. They are on time, very professional and clean up everything when they are done.  I would highly recommend them!

Refinished Hardwood floors and they did a great job! The tough part was dealing with the smell that permeates and lingers after the job is completed. The Blackhawk Team was easy to work with and delivered a great finished product.

We were referred to Blackhawk by friends who had used them for a recent installation.  We were favorably impressed by the owner when he came to prepare an estimate.  Because of a work backlog, we had to wait longer than we would have liked but it was worth it.  The flooring material is well made and the installation job was well done.  Some of the walls in the house are not joined at 90 degree angles and the unusual angles were handled with no apparent difficulty.  The job was completed in about 2 1/2 days and the finished product is gorgeous.

It was an excellent work. It was a good experience because they did a good job, he cleaned up afterwards and came on the time that he told me.

Completed on time and performed all the tasks that they contracted to do. Arrived punctually every morning and completed their tasks efficiently and professionally. Good customer interface, open to questions and congenial.
Everyone from the store sales staff, owner, financial people and workmen acted in a very professional manner. A pleasure to do business with.

BLACKHAWK ORIGINAL GOT THE ORDER WRONG BUT IT WAS AN TECHNICAL MISTAKE, THEY WOULD HAVE CORRECTED THE PROBLEM, HOWEVER, THE PRODUCT ACTUALLY TURNED OUT TO BE PERFECT. THEY WERE PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL AND VERY TALENTED. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN.

INCREDIBLE! A FLOORING CONTRACTOR THAT UNDERSTOOD WHAT I WANTED AND WAS ABLE TO DO THE WORK. EVERYONE ELSE I TALKED TO TRIED TO SELL ME WHAT THEY HAD - NOT WHAT I WANTED. THIS WAS A PRICEY UNDERTAKING, BUT A SPRUNG FLOOR (LIKE A GYMNASIUM FLOOR - IT'S ACTUALLY TWO FLOORS, ONE ON TOP OF THE OTHER, AND THE BOTTOM ONE HAS SPRINGY LITTLE 'FEET') IS EXPENSIVE AND VERY FEW FLOORING CONTRACTORS KNOW HOW TO DO THIS! HOWEVER, I CAN SAY THAT THESE GUYS WOULD BE PROS AT ANY TYPE OF WOOD FLOOR. THE FINAL/TOP FLOOR WAS A TYPICAL HARDWOOD MAPLE FLOOR AND IT IS JUST BEAUTIFUL. THEY WORKED QUICKLY, ON SCHEDULE AND THEIR PEOPLE WERE GREAT TO HAVE IN MY HOME. THEY WERE VERY NEAT AND TOOK GREAT PAIN TO ASSURE THAT I DIDN'T HAVE SANDING DUST ALL OVER MY HOME. THEY EVEN FIXED SOME TILE IN MY HALLWAY FOR ME THAT WAS REQUIRED AS A RESULT OF OTHER CONTRACTING WORK I WAS HAVING DONE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
