I used Arizona Termite Specialist for preventive treatment of a house. First of all, their website is excellent, very informative, thoroughly explains about termite treatment and control, down to what is the best chemical on the market. That gives the homeowners the necessary criteria when determining which company to use. Some company might be reasonable, courteous, prompt, but they use chemicals that is one or two generations old and does not work the best. Owner Jeremy is very upfront about what he will do. He did exactly what he drawn out to do, drilling and trenching. Crew is efficient, on time and courteous. He is very reasonable ( use the best chemical) compared to other quotes I got. I highly recommend this company.

By far the BEST termite removal specialists I have used -- it's been over one year since Jeremy Youngquist first treated my home and I have seen ZERO termites. Some background: I purchased a home in 2013 that had been perimeter-treated (trenching, slab-drilling, and fill-treatment w. Termidor.) I also inherited an existing contract with a "budget" termite control company (Strike Force), at around $500/year. Went away for the summer and returned to find termite tubes hanging from the ceiling in 3 rooms. IMHO, this type of company keeps contract costs low by spot-treating outbreaks, which they did by injecting Termidor into the baseboards and walls around the site of the tubes. This did NOT work. Next year, I switched to a company called Poor Boy's Termite Control. This company uses a sophisticated scanner to look inside the walls and located termite infestations that cannot be seen. But, they treat the outbreaks in exactly the same way as did Strike Force -- by injecting Termidor into baseboards and walls surrounding the existing termite tubes. This also did not work -- tubes re-surfaced in three areas of a hallway, and two new rooms. In essence, both Strike Force and Poor Boy's were merely chasing the termites around the walls of my house. Now, Arizona Termite Specialists has a completely different approach. First, Jeremy actually knows what he's doing. He inspected the slab-drilled areas around my home, and found that some of the drill sites had not even penetrated the concrete completely. Some areas had been skipped. Bad for me, sure, but these were areas with no protection. Jeremy also explained the process by which termites relocate. If you have termites in the interior of your home, the colony has already bypassed any perimeter treatment you have in place. To get these colonies, Jeremy took a small drill and went into the grout between my floor tiles and the flooring under carpeted areas, and drenched those areas with Termidor HE (newer, better stuff.) IMHO, you need to completely saturate the ground under your home in areas of termite infestation to keep the colony from simply moving 5 feet away, and then running back up your walls. FYI, Jeremy re-grouted the flooring and it is completely unnoticeable. So, I had to re-trench and re-drill the slab, and had extensive internal termite treatment, which was expensive but also necessary, if I wanted to get rid of the termites. (Oh, also, AZ Termite Specialists was less expensive than the quote I got from one of the leading termite control companies.) The outcome? One full year with ZERO TERMITES.
