Randy was responsive and did a great job fixing our toilet and installing a light dimmer switch. His pricing was very reasonable, and he is friendly and professional. He is knowledgeable about electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, We will call him whenever we have a fix-it project that needs to be done.

Randy was great to work with. He communicates every detail of the project and ensured I understood what I was getting. Price is fair and definitely worth the money. He installed 24 recessed lights and 6 dimmer switches. Iâ  ll be using Randy again in the future.

I have hired this company several times over the last few years. Randy was at m house today replacing all my smoke detectors, co detectors, installed cabinet knobs and handles, fixed my patio door and my sliding glass door to name some of the projects. He is so good to work with, does excellent work and his prices are more than fair. I hire Randy at Howsmart whenever I need any work done. I highly recommend him.

When I first called early morning I got no answer left a message but Laurie replied back by the afternoon .. they were booked for the day but she was very kind to squeeze me in the schedule. Randy came to fix a few things and not only did he do it correct. He also gave us other tips & suggestions for the house & about living here in AZ(since we are new here). He went above and beyond. He was very fair. I totally recommend this company. He made us feel like he cared about our projects and not just there to get paid. So that s what we appreciated the most ! Thank you very much for that ! We will use this service again !

My experience with HowSmart has consistently been top quality. I received a call within 24 hours of making my 1st contact. Randy's done a variety of jobs for me. He started out repairing the outside walls of my shed that another handyman had repaired incorrectly. He re-screened damaged sections of my sun porch which was also caused by another handyman's poor workmanship. He's installed a barn door between my laundry room and my kitchen with a design of his own that made this project more cost effective that offered by others. Every job has been discussed thoroughly to make sure that we're in agreement. I've also asked his advice on several projects and I've always felt that he was giving me solid information that was in my best interest. I have received prompt, respectful and courteous response to my calls and during Randy's service calls. In addition, every service call was made within the time window provided and I've received a call advising me that he was in route. I recommend HowSmart highly and without any reservation as a truly professional service.

I've spent years compiling projects for a handyman, but wanted one that could do everything and do it all well. I have finally found the handyman I was looking for all these years. Randy has been here twice and I already have additional projects for him. He has an hour drive to get here, but is still willing to come this far. He was recommended by a friend and I have already thanked her and told her how wonderful I think Randy is. And he takes pictures of all the before and after work and adds them to his invoice -- a plus I didn't expect.

I hired HowSmart, LLC for $50/hr to do several project they done 2 project assemble office desk and security door lock he took 9 hrs to do few projects days later they wanted $1050 to finish job. They reneged on the original oral contract and took advantage of me.

"My name is Randy. I was the one who was out on these projects. First of all nothing was as described when I arrived. He had me put together a desk and a return and hutch in a room that had no room to work in (every piece of the desk had to be built, drawers, etc). Second I installed a digital front door lock with thumbprint scanner. I installed it and it took a lot of time to go through and program it with him. The money we wanted to finish up was not additional money for the work we already were doing but for new work that we estimated to do. He wanted electrical run to 5 different locations that were part inside and part outside. There would have been a lot of attic work to do and it is the middle of summer. I explained all the costs to him and he still didn't seem to understand me. This was a case of miscommunication where as he has a difficult time communicating what he actually wanted to have done and he has a difficult time understanding what is communicated with him. We never take advantage of anyone and we wouldn't. We pride ourselves in being upfront and honest about everything we do. This review is not an honest representation of our company or the work that we do and I would encourage you not to take it seriously."

In addition to excellent work, Randy is friendly and professional. I have used him twice and the day before each of my scheduled appointments, I receive a confirmation phone call and a time window of when he will arrive. He lays out his work taking precautions to cover the work area and cleans any additional items that may have not landed on his covered work area. I would highly recommend this company to anyone, and would tell you his work is great and his pricing is extremely competitive. I have another project I will need to be completed in the fall, and he will be my only call. EXCELLENT!!!!

This is my second visit from Randy (Owner of Howsmart). I was very pleased today and on the previous visit. Here's a description; hang mirror, hang picture, hang ceiling planters, fix shower, check water shut-off valves, replace fluorescent bulb in garage, install light switch timer, take down Christmas lights (this was from visit two months ago). It doesn't make any difference what job or jobs you have, just give Randy a list and he checks them off as he completes them. Howsmart charges a reasonable hourly rate, which he will quote you, I feel very comfortable that the time for the jobs is reasonable and accurate as well. They will give you an estimate on request. I will definitely hire again and would recommend them to my friends

I appreciate the fact that Laurie realized that I had already waited a couple of wks., and so managed to keep my appointment with Randy. I appreciate Randy's work, his honesty, and his advice on the best way to proceed with repairs. He also got my daughter's four, large drawings up on the vaulted ceiling wall, something I could not get anyone to come in to do. And he put up the towel rack in my daughter's bathroom. Everything was VERY well done, very professional!

Extremely communicative throughout the entire project from scheduling the visit to reminding me he would be out the day before the scheduled visit. Prompt and very professional with great follow through. I only hired him to hang Christmas tree lights but I will definitely use him for any other projects that come along and will recommend him without thinking twice.

Randy came on time and did several small jobs for me and one large job. Jobs included fixing a door (so it could be opened) and repairing a fan light switch that would not work. But the large job was installing a fence across my back yard to keep out the wildlife. It wasn't so easy because I wanted to come exactly to the top of a block wall and up. to 3 ft. heights. He did it perfectly and finished all jobs in one day. The cost was extremely reasonable and I was very satisfied. I definitely will always call Randy for future jobs. Thank you Randy. Marilyn L.

The people at HowSmart, LLC were courteous, kind, and friendly. I am a Disabled Veteran. And my wife is currently very sick. It's refreshing to have someone that is so extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of home repair and maintenance, that also cares about cleanliness and quality, at a fair price.
