Refrigerator was out of warranty and I wanted to find a local service tech. A to Z had good reviews and was recommended by another dealer who didn't do Samsung appliances. Oren Lewis responded to my phone call. He told me he works on Samsung refrigerators all the time and would come take a look. He did. Said he would have to research the issue and would get back to me. After I called him more than a week later to check on status, Oren came out again and said he needed to put a silicon caulk around the icemaker to reduce the humidity and air transfer to the ice maker. He put in the caulk and said to let him know if it fixed the problem. I paid him for the service calls and the labor to caulk. I tried calling him a few days later to let him know the caulk did not work. I continued to try and reach him -- twice by phone and two texts. It is a month later he has yet to respond to my calls/messages. It is as if he dropped off the earth. I then called another tech (who is out of Fenton and recommended by Samsung). He said the caulking should have been inside the ice maker and not on the outside as Oren had done. Additionally, the fan and auger will both need to be replaced. I believe Oren was trying to help, but he obviously didn't know what to do and the lack of response is just rude.

It went great! He came out on a Saturday morning. Arrived when he said he would and did a great job. He even offered to take the old dishwasher if I couldn't get the store to recycle it. He gave us some tips on keeping the new one in good, running order. Exceptional experience and exceptional value.

Well the Maytag Brand is garbage now, but the service I got was awesome. Leonard Mullen was prompt and very professional! My Maytag 's transmission broke and there was a leak at the seal. It wasn't worth fixing because Leonard explained how expensive the part is. But he recommended a new heavy duty washer (Speed Queen) we bought it and now have a 15 year warranty on the transmission! Speed Queen he told me was American made and is heavy duty. I bought the $125.00 service deal from Angie's list but Leonard only charged me $50.00 so I now have a credit of $75.00 I can use with him on any other appliance that breaks down. I highly recommend A to Z Appliance to anyone and I promise you you won't be disappointed!

Dryer stopped heating. Called A to Z based on the reviews and scheduled a visit with Leonard. He arrived promptly as scheduled. He diagnosed and explained the issue thoroughly. He ordered the replacement part and returned the following day to complete the repair. I was very pleased with my experience and will use A to Z again.

I completed a repair request online on A to Z Appliance Repair's website. Leonard called me later that same day and told me he could be out the next business day. He was there when he said he would be. He had to order a part and was back out two days later, exactly when he told me he would be. The price was FAR below what I had been quoted from LG and it is working like new again. Hands down, the best appliance repair company I have ever dealt with. The fact that he called when he said he would and showed up when he was scheduled to come was a pleasant surprise. I cannot say enough about how professional and prompt he was and will definitely use them again in future.

Oren came out and fixed our problem. More than that he was so understanding and kind. My husband had just had open heart surgery and Oren was concerned about him and wanted to make sure we had no added stress with the dryer issue. Thanks Oren

Due to winter weather conditions, it took a few days to schedule the repair. Leonard was prompt in his communications, and on schedule when determined. He was responsive to my needs as the customer and was quick to suggest an appropriate solution, and prompt and professional in implementing the decided repair.

When I asked my wife how the repair went, she broke into song...singing "Everything is Awesome." The repairman called us two days before the scheduled date with Angie's List for the work to be done. He came right over, easily diagnosed the problem, called around for the part and found one twenty miles away. He went and picked up the part and swung back by our house on his way home and fixed it in minutes. He even helped my wife fix the door to our oven so that she could clean a mess between the glass panes on the door.

I received an email response from Leonard Mullen on the 23rd of October. His email asked about the days I would be available for service and the nature of my service request. I responded the same day by giving him several dates plus on which I would be available (including a day I would be available all day), appliance model and serial number and the type of problem I was having. No response. I emailed him again on the 26th and on the 27th. I mentioned in the email on the 27th that email would be my last email to him. No response. I checked my SPAM to see if anyone else had responded. I have not received any other emails. My credit card was debited for $126.00. I would like to know how I get a credit for this non service.

"I am sorry about this experience. It seems that angieslist has changed on the information we get about the contact person and there is no phone number or I didn't see one. Email is a bad way to respond back and forth. I don't know what happened to those emails. I am so sorry. If you did not get a refund please contact me and I can get you taken care of. Thanks, Leonard Mullen. 6369807212"

Leonard was awesome. He was able to come check things out later the same day I called. He was prompt, friendly, and very professional. He had to "unstack" our stacked machines, which he did with *zero* complaint and just a little assistance from my husband. After some exploration of our approximately 7 year old machine, he regretfully informed us that our issue would require a good amount of repair. He recommended that we invest in a new machine, as the repairs would leave us just about $100 shy of what we'd pay for a new machine, but still left it up to us if we wanted to repair or replace. He answered all of our questions very easily, provided us some education as to what might have happened that caused our issue, and gave us tips on how to prevent future problems with the new machine we decided that we'd be purchasing. Then, he cleaned everything up, went out of his way to hook everything back up in case we had any desire to attempt to wash anything, and charged only $50 for the service call. And he was worth EVERY penny of that $50. I absolutely would not hesitate to call Leonard at A-Z Appliance Repair again, should the need arise!

I called A to Z appliance repair over the weekend and the technician, Oren, was able to take the call. We made an appointment for Monday and he also gave us several things to do prior to the appointment to further trouble shoot the problem. When Oren arrived, he was able to resolve the issue in less than an hour.

It was a tough decision since it was only a year old. I learned the brand/model I had purchased was poor. He gave me good information to make a better choice. He could have reamed me by padding his wallet to fix it, when he knew it had other issues pending. Instead he was honest although it meant he only got paid for the service call.

It went very well. Mr. Leonard Mullen was upfront about the fact that A To Z Appliance Repair works on appliances (dryers, washers, referigerators, etc.) but not on boilers. Since I have used A to Z appliance for my appliance repairs in the past and couple of times have been burnt by other service providers I still wanted him to check it out for me. He agreed and came to check on it and found that all it needed was a reset. That worked. Each time I have been very satisfied with his work. I appreicate his expertise with appliance repairs, honesty and quality of work.

The technician did a wonderful job and tried several things but determined that it was not advisable to put money into repairs on a refrigerator that old and with problems that were not easily diagnosed. He was very friendly and explained everything in detail. He was above all honest and did not overcharge for the service.

Oren just charged me the huge amount ($145) when the device itself is $100.
He is greedy for money and just telling some bogus calculations. For 30 min of work he took 145 and telling 50 for coming, 30 for part and 75 for service. I never heard anywhere someone will do like this. very worse. I wouldn't have spend this much if i would have known, he will charge this.Task was just to replace coupler.

I wont, wont recommend him or his team services to any of my friends here.

Called to schedule a service appointment on a Tuesday night and was set up for the next afternoon.  Technician came and did an evaluation and determined a circuit board needed to be replaced.  Part was ordered and technician returned on Friday to complete the repair.  He was at my house twice and spent less than 2 hours during the two trips.

I looked up the part after the fact and found that it cost $111.00.  I rated fair on price because I thought the cost of the labor was a little high.  I am very satisfied with the work and will use them in the future.  I had a very poor experience with Sears Appliance Repair and will no longer use them.  I'll use a small independent repairperson from now on.  That is, after I check Angie's List!!

Frig went out overnight, I left a message before service hours. leonard called back and after explaing the problem, he asked for model number and we agreed to a service call that afternoon. He replaced a failed capacitor on the circuit board, everything immediately worked again. Less than an hour, he charged $125 for service and parts. I can honestlly say it was the best repair experience I've ever had... and I'm pretty old!

Leonard does a great job, that was the second time i called him.  He came out the very next day.  He diagnosed the problem and had it running in a little over 30 minutes.  He also told me what i could do next time so i would not have to make a service call.  A to Z is a great company.  If you need appliance repair, they are the ones to call.
