The workers staarted early in the morning and what was expected to take up to three days because the trees were so large ended up taking only one day. Monstrosity Tree Service was cost effective and very professional in their work.

This is our fifth year having Monstrosity trim our trees. They had more to do this year taking out our tallest palm and three agave plants/stalks...one is the hugest one we have ever seen. We cannot say enough good about this crew. They work hard, we think their prices are very reasonable and best of all their clean up is incredible. They were here for two days this time, the second day just to remove the palm. Our yard was a huge mess both days but totally cLeaned up and beautiful both days when they left. Got a referral to this company from another contractor. Called the owner, Robert Miller, yesterday. He asked that I send pix of trees that needed cleaning up. I did, he called back with estimate, I accepted and he and his crew arrived this morning and did a beautiful job. Very professional crew, everyone knew their job and did it. They had enough equipment to support the job. Truly impressive. I've hired them to return and do two more trees. I would absolutely recommend them. I took pix of before, during and after and will post them on a yelp review.

This work was actually done about a year ago, but I just joined Angie's list today. We had a large Eucalyptus tree that we loved that we thought might die because there was frost that damaged it really bad. There were so many dead branches up way high. We didn't want anyone who would just lop of the top! The owner came and told me the price. They came a day or 2 later and did a huge amount of skilled trimming in all the right places. Cleaned it all up and hauled it away. I asked to them to save some large branches for firewood and they cut it up nicely and left it on the side yard. The tree had grown in beautifully after their trimming. Excellent company.

The team was about 30 minutes late, but they did call and let me know they would be late. Robert got going right away while the rest of the team finished another job, and shortly the entire team was on site and working. They actually did more than I asked for and did it quickly. By lunch time, the guys had cleaned up and were off to the next job. I am very pleased by the work that was done and the reasonable cost.

Called yesterday and they came over in the afternoon and explained what was involved with the job and gave me options and prices on their services. I told them what I wanted to do-they were very helpful in explaining what they would do, what the results would look like and what further work, if any, would need to be done in the coming years. They said they would be there the next day and they were. Job was completed exactly like they explained. The yard was totally picked up and sidewalk was clean when they left. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs work done on any of their trees. They really know trees and their advice was greatly appreciated.

The work went well the first day, but on the second day Robert's son and a teenage friend came and not too much got done. We sent them home as it appeared they were putting in time, not effort. Robert needed to supervise their work.

Robert gave us an estimate the day before. we had already gotten one estimate so we felt his price to be very very reasonable. his crew was here at 8am on a saturday as arranged. (none of this work was an emergency, he just said he could get it done on saturday which was great with us). the crew was efficient, professional and we are just thrilled with the results. they also left the whole yard neater and cleaner than when they got here. we will use them again and recommend them highly.
