Chad and Patrick arrived on time, as always. We needed a new part because the old one was leaking. We replaced it. We are good to go. We love these guys. They are honest, highly competent, reasonable, and completely trust-worthy. An elderly friend called us in a panic because her cooler dudes told her she needed $10,000 in repairs or her house would burn down. We connected her to Bill, the owner of Absolute Heating and Cooling. It only needed a $90 part. Thanks, Absolute!

On the first visit the technician said he found nothing wrong, insisting that its just these types of houses and because it has been extra cold. He  left without calling me (owner) which is what he is supposed to do. My tenants said that the heater was still not working .I had to call American Home Shield and they sent the same  technician out again the same day. This time he figured out that the Freon was extremely low and that it needed 4 pounds added (How did he not notice this the first time). This company does not take credit cards at all, they only take cash or check in person at time of service, no billing. Since this is a rental property and I do not live near it, there was no way for me to pay them, no credit cards over the phone. They would not provide the service without pre-payment, which I understand why, but what I didn't like was how when I was on the phone with Juanita who was actually trying to understand my dilemma and work with me, the owner was making rude comments, saying HE was mad, and saying that its not their problem that I was not at the property. This was so unprofessional. I ended up having to call out a different contractor that I could pay over the phone with a credit card. So beware of using this company if you are a property owner trying to make repairs on a rental. No credit cards, and customer service that is so poor, from the owner of all people, that they should truly be embarrassed by.

Bill was amazingly efficient, knowledgeable, professional, speedy, and cheerful. (This was done during our hot, hot time of the year and much of the work was on the roof.) He did not leave us without available air-conditioning for even 5 minutes! He was so quiet in the house and cleaned up so well each day that it was like he was not even there at times. He went out of his way to be available for any questions and was happy to explain all steps of the process.

I called American Home Shield on a Monday evening after finding my AC system iced over. The temperature in the house was in the 90's (outside it was 105) and we were in the middle of unseasonably high temps with a forecast of several more days of temps of 105-109. Since I also have medical issues, they upgraded my request to a priority request. The initial company they contacted said they and quot;didn't handle critical requests and wouldn't be out to look at my system until at least Thursday of that week.and quot; AHS then contacted Absolute Heating Cooling and Refrigeration, who agreed to come out the next day. While they didn't call me that night to arrange for the visit, they did return a call early the next morning (around 7:00 a.m.) to let me know they would be out between 10 and 2 that same day. Right around noon, Guy arrived at the house and immediately set to work. He talked to me about what we were experiencing, what the system was doing, the history of prior issues (the icing problem happened 2 years ago), maintenance, and let me know up front about the new rules regarding Freon and increased charges. Turns out the blower unit and condenser were both iced over and had to be defrosted before much could be done to determine the exact cause, so Guy worked to get the system defrosted. Meanwhile, he tested other components, checked for blockages, and checked the electrical components to be sure they weren't the problem. Because of the icing, he had to leave for an hour or so (for another call), but promised to be back shortly to finish the job, and he did exactly that. Within 90 minutes, he was calling me back to say he was returning and when he arrived, he picked right up where he left off and continued checking the system. Unfortunately, we couldn't determine exactly where the problem existed, except that the system was short some Freon, so he replaced a capacitor (to be sure), injected some and quot;stop leakand quot; to seal any potential pinprick leaks, and pumped an additional three pounds of Freon into the system.



The system works just like it did prior to this.



While I'm not happy about the price of Freon (beyond their control), I appreciate the professionalism and knowledge Guy exhibited, as well as his commitment to seeing the job through (and being thorough about it). I appreciate Absolute's willingness to come out on short notice and get our system back up and running.

Complete service for heating unit. We have never had such good attention to this unit in all the 40 years we have been in this house and we have routine service. This is the first time we had our service done by Absolute and the first time any company has vacuumed the unit inside thoroughly, took out the burners and brushed them, etc. etc. Went over EVERYTHING. Very, very good service. My husband is delighted with them.

A/C went out on Saturday, called American Home Shield and filed claim. we were contacted Monday to tell us someone would be out Wed or Thur I believe. We called AHS and asked for them to get someone sooner and they found Absolute for us. I believe they came that very day. Replaced a capacitor I believe and everything went great. All we paid was the service fee of AHS.

They were prompt, squeezed me onto their schedule within 2 days. Bill came out, installed it within a day, and was very knowledgeable of the unit. Not only did the provide superior service, they were also the most competitively priced.

Very pleased with the service. Honest and efficient. Told us our unit would last quite a few more years. We will definitely have him out each year.

Very well. Prior positive reviews are on point. I found him to be a professional who does what he's hired to do and gives a good value for the purchase.

They are always prompt and professional. They put little booties over their shoes when they come in the house. They always tidy up their work area before they leave.

Appt. timeframe was reasonable for early in the AC season. Tech. called before arrival and was on-time. He diagnosed and performed the repair efficiently and effectively. Overall, very happy. They did such a good job that we bought an annual HVAC service agrrement.

They did a really good job. I spent $100. Overall, they were very much here on time and actually corrected something that another company had done wrong. I was very pleased with them. I thought they were very honest. They came out the next day after I called them. I would use them again in the future.

Tech came out several times before he found the problem. He worked outside the house as well as in to resolve the problem. My air conditioner has not run so quetly since I moved into my house.

Absolute was the designated contractor for AC/heating under our home warranty now expired. They had provided service earlier this year on our air conditioning air unit under the warranty which went very well - Ernie, who is a very good technician, diagnosed a blockage in the drainage system at that time and after a great deal of effort managed to clear it. And he was equally knowledgeable and quick at diagnosing and treating the heating issue this time. Highly recommended, at least if Ernie is representative of their technical staff.
