Auto Sales
I believe they could have done better with the pricing on the replacement and feel that I should be reimbursed the $400 I had to pay for the new tire. This was a brand new truck and should not have had these issues with new tires.
UPDATE:
The company response from Hatch naming spare tire and 17? full size spare tire and window sticker as a full size spare is a lie. The tire and rim I did purchase for under $400.00 is factory not the $850.00 ?discounted? tire and rim Hatch offered to sell me. If this is good faith the consumer has no chance. The BBB said they offered in good faith but I ask you to judge if it is good faith to pay more than double the price? My window sticker, Copy enclosed, said 20? x 8? Aluminum wheels and are all season tires! It also list the Full Size temporary use spare tire, which is the 17? temporary good for 30-50 miles, just enough to get you to a dealer where you can BUY a new tire and rim. When you publish both side of the story make sure you add the whole story for the consumer. Also tell them when the issue first arose and I wanted to speak, in person, to the manager, he refused even tho he was only 10 feet away! He showed No personal interest in helping out a customer who gave him nearly $40,000 cash and all I wanted was my $400.00 Back ?(I?ve since replaced 5 tires on the truck, 4 for tire separation-were they retreads?? What did Hatch put on that truck??)

"(deleted member name) purchased a New Truck with all factory installed equipment including the tires and spare tire which are covered by their manufacturer warranty. The 17” full size spare tire that comes with the truck is what the manufacturer provides and is what the truck is priced with. It is listed on the federally mandated window sticker as a full size spare. We offered to sell (deleted member name) a matching 20” Factory Wheel and Tire, at our cost, for a spare as she was requesting. She did not like the price and chose to purchase a non-factory wheel and tire. (deleted member name) also filed a complaint with the BBB and it was closed as resolved finding in favor of Hatch Brothers, Inc. trying in good faith to resolve the issue with (deleted member name)."
