They came out when they said they would and did the job relatively quickly. We had only marginal results with them. Clearly, they only did one coat of paint when two coats were needed on a rough wall. We had to make numerous repairs to the work that they did. They did offer to come back, but we were so dissatisfied that we actually repainted the rooms ourselves.

Do be very clear on your expectations and be there to watch what is going on. Do not worry about being in the way and asking to have the supervisor called. It was difficult to see what was going on in each room, but I will be more aware next time. I did not contact them about the paint splatter on the furniture and not using semi-gloss on trim because it was several weeks after the fact. Still I felt cheated and will not use them again. I felt there sales person was only interested in making the sale and the work team was interested in cutting corners and getting it done as quickly and cheaply as possible.

Gave best price of three companies and separated each room in the estimate as requested. When I requested a change to the project scope they repriced the quote and emailed the next day. Once work started they arrived on time and did everything beyond my satisfaction. Clean-up and prep work was very good and they matched existing wall texture very well. I will use them again.

They did an excellent job on the house. The previous painter just painted over the previous layers of paint. They ended up painting probably around 8 other houses in the neighborhood. The price was very competitive.

From the beginning when we requested a quote from Tony everyone showed up at the time they said they would. There were a total of four painters assigned to work on the house during different phases of the project. All were punctual and polite. The superintendent Bryan met with us on opening day and explained the process and was there every morning to check on the progress of the job and provide any needed materials. He is the best supervisor we have ever worked with from any contractor. It is clear from the first day to the clean up process that he cares about the quality of the work done and that the customer is satisfied. In speaking with the owner of the company it was clear to see that mentality of providing quality workmanship is instilled in all the field employees. You may pay a little more for Smith Painting quality but our experience proved them worth the cost.

This was a terrible experience. The company did not prep the walls properly and never even finished the entire job. They refused to come back out and a job that was supposed to take 8 days, stretched to a month. We finally got them to drop their initial price somewhat when they acknowledged that the work was never completed properly. They were extremely difficult and did not know what they were doing. I'll probably have to patch up the rest of the work myself.

"THIS PROJECT WAS COMPLETED IN OCT OF 2005. WHILE WE REGRET THAT EVERYTHING DID NOT GO PERFECTLY SMOOTH THE MEMBER DID SEND US AN EMAIL THANKING US FOR THE JOB WHEN WE WERE DONE. WHEN SOME ITEMS WERE BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION AFTER COMPLETION THE MEMBER WOULD NOT KEEP THE APPOINTMENTS TO LET US BACK IN TO COMPLETE THOSE ITEMS. HE KEPT CHANGING THE TIMES OF THE APPOINTMENTS AND FINALLY TOLD US THAT HE WOULD NOT LET US BACK IN THE HOME. WE THEN MADE A SETTLEMENT THAT HE AGREED TO AND CLOSED OUT THE FILE. THE REST OF THE INFORMATION ON WHAT HAPPENED IS BETWEEN THE MEMBERS AND SMITH PAINTING AND IS NOT FOR OPEN DISCUSSION. THEY WERE TREATED FAIRLY AND COMPENSATED ACCORDINGLY. IT IS A SURPRISE THAT IT TOOK 2 YEARS TO RECORD A COMPLAINT. SMITH PAINTING IS NOT PERFECT AND WE DO MAKE MISTAKES BUT WE DO EVERYTHING WE CAN TO MAKE THEM RIGHT AND TO SATISFY THE CUSTOMER BUT THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE THAT NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO IT IS NEVER ENOUGH. WE STAND ON OUR PAST RECORDS OF MANY SATISFIED CUSTOMERS."

Outstanding. Did exactly what I expected, taped and covered the room totally, worked around furniture, patched the cracking, helped it dry, thoroughly prepped everything, several coats to cover, cleaned up everything, completed the job. The painting crew was on time (7:30 am) each of the 5 days they were here. Both Ramon and Cisco were VERY polite and courteous, and accomplished the work as agreed upon. They even did more than expected by us. The Field supervisor, Bryan, was here every morning to make sure the painters had everything they needed. Bryan came usually more than 1 time per day. Their price was reasonable, we are VERY please with the results, and will recommend their services to anyone in the market.

TOOK A WEEK TO COMPLETE THE JOB. PREP WORK WAS EXTENSIVE AND THOROUGH. CREW OF 2 WERE PUNCTUAL, COURTEOUS, AND PROFESSIONAL. ROVING QUALITY CONTROL SUPERVISOR APPEARED EACH AM TO CHECK PREVIOUS DAYS WORK. HEAD PAINTER CHECKED EACH SECTION OF WORK AS THEY COMPLETED IT WITH ME AND ASKED IF I HAD ANY QUESTIONS OR NEEDED TO HAVE ANYTHING CHANGED. THEY WERE VERY EASY AND ACCOMMODATING TO WORK WITH. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

THEY WERE POLITE AND DID GOOD WORK. THE DOOR TURNED OUT TO BE A BIT LIGHTER THAN I WOULD HAVE LIKED, BUT OVERALL, THEY DID GOOD.
