Professional, On Time and Knowledgeable. Richard explained everything that was needed and all costs up front. I called Marco Polo Because i neeed my Filters Cleaned and my system explained to me ( new home owner and I didnt understand exactly how my system operated) he took the time to explain my system to me and the best way to maintain it on my own. Almost immediately after posting my request on line for a pool filter repair service I received a call from one of the two owners of Marco Polo Pools. He was polite and courteous and listened attentively to my issue and afterwards offered to come over that morning and repair it for a very reasonable and competitive price. Both owners arrived and completed the job in a timely, neat and proficient manner. Before leaving they cleaned up the entire area and made sure that not only everything worked as designed to but also that I was very satisfied with them and the quality of their work. I highly recommend Marco Polo Pools and would encourage anyone to give them the opportunity to assist them with their pool needs.

I called Richard with some concerns about my new pool and the system as a whole. Richard and Jake came by the same day, cleaned our entire pool, and took the time to teach me how the entire system worked. They were both very knowledgeable and had great customer service. I learned a lot and the pool looks great, Iâ m looking forward to working with them on a weekly basis.

Its been just few weeks since hired. So far its a great company and good value for money and maintains the pool well.

Richard has been taking care of our pool since September of 2020. We found him to be attentive, eager to succeed, knowledgeable and dependable. In November of 2021, our pool was redoneâ new bottom and new water. It took about six weeks before the water was back in the pool but we continued to pay Richard. In March of 2022 algae appeared! Most disappointing was that we had to bring it to his attention before an attempt was made to correct. Why wasnâ t it evident? Shock was thrown in and where it laid on the bottom, there is a darker spot on the pebble tech. Along with the shock, lay the broken cap to the vac lock, assume it was broken off during a brushing. Sadly we were losing confidence and trust so we gave two weeks notice but paid for a month of service. Prior to this a week of service was missed due to a new setup and sadly it appears he has decided not to honor the remaining two weeks for which he has been paid. No attempt was made to make good on the week missed, broken cap and now the remaining weeks. We are sad as we liked Richard. Since he doesnâ t communicate, we donâ t really know why. We liked Richard and had hoped his new business would be a success but disappointed at the lack of mature business ethics.

I made one request of Richard, to have a new pool guy to come to the front door and meet me before coming into the yard. They came right through the yard and waited for me to know they were here. I have a dog so I knew he was here. Unfortunately, after I complained the friendly service stopped. Today he thought I was not home and he blocked the doggy door with a chair I was told he now had lots of customers and did not need us. I did not think it was too much to ask to meet someone before they came into my yard. The work was good, I have no complaints. He just seems to have stopped valuing his customers.

I hired Marco Polo Pools to drain and clean a badly neglected pool full of dark algae. I had them also upgrade the filter system and replace an old pump motor, switch, and timer. This is a rental property and I live in another state, but Richard handled everything for me and sent me photos of everything. Richard is very easy to work with, knows his business, and has reasonable rates. The only negative is that he doesn't currently accept credit cards, but hopefully he will consider adding that in the future. I have also hired him to perform weekly pool service for me going forward.

I contacted many pool service companies while looking for one to hire and Richard, owner of Marco Polo Pools, was by far the most impressive. Though this was a brand new company and I was one of the first regular customers, his professionalism was exemplary, and the pricing amazing too. In addition to the cleaning and chemical service they take of any repairs or maintenance needed, whether big or small. If for some reason I have needed service outside my regular day they always go out of the way to take care of me. If you are looking for a pool service company that will truly care about going above and beyond, Marco Polo Pools is the company you want to hire.
