"I am sorry you had a poor experience with the restoration company we referred to you. If you had made us aware of an issue with them, there may have been something we could have done to help. As far as the “valve” we replaced on your “busted water heater”, what we in fact replaced was a leaking upper element. There was no need to drain the water heater to perform this task. Even though there was significant water damage to your home from the leak, prior to us getting on site, we still took precautions not to add to the problem during our repair. We laid plenty of towels down to catch any water that might dribble out (which was minimal) during the element replacement. Since this job was actually dispatched to us from your home warranty company, we were limited as to what we were allowed to do as per their guidelines and your contract with them. We fixed the problem in a timely manner as what was required. Any issue you may have had with another company is unfortunate, but I cannot accept the blame for what may have happened between you and another party."
