Shower tile improperly installed. Work done 2015 and looked nice when complete but once it dried completely, fibers were seen sticking out of the grout. Colin returned to repair , clipped off fibers and applied new grout. Unfortunately the new grout did not match when it dried. Repeated calls have not not been returned after a promise was given to rectify the problem. A review was submitted immediately after the work was completed in 2015 and before the problem was seen. I am sorry if this first review caused any problems.

The job went great! He and his crew were always on time, worked hard the entire day, and cleaned up every night before they left. They also were very accommodating about working around my pets' needs ( I have 2 rabbits and a pit bull, the rabbits live in their own room and get stressed if they are moved around a lot). He also replaced all my baseboards. My house looks great now. I had gotten estimates from other people, but Kodiak was the least expensive. I plan to hire him again soon for some more work in my kitchen and bathrooms.

My master bathroom was overdue for updating, and I had been dreaming of tearing out the existing shower and replacing it with a tiled shower and glass doors, replacing all the cabinets, getting new granite countertops, and rearranging the mirrors and lighting.  
I contacted Colyn after several months of frustration and disappointment when getting estimates from other contractors.  He was very quick to schedule an estimate, arrived promptly, and spent plenty of time listening to my plans and giving me helpful advice and suggestions.  His written estimate was clear and very fairly priced.  
I felt confident from that first meeting with Colyn that he and his team would do a great job with my project, and I was not disappointed! From the time I gave the go-ahead for the project, it was quickly started.  He was on-site each day to answer questions, and even though I wasn't able to be there all the time, I knew my remodel was in good hands.  His crews showed up each day, as scheduled and on time.  I was regularly updated with progress or any concerns.  Even when I changed plans and added a guest bathroom update (cabinet, countertop, lighting and mirror), he didn't skip a beat and had no problems integrating the extra work into the schedule.  I was very pleased with the progression of work.  From start to finish, it was only about 2 weeks for the whole project to be completed, including the additional work! 
I am very happy with the final product.  My master bath shower is custom sized, and the tile work is beautiful.  I love the new cabinets, sinks and countertops.  When I didn't like the light fixtures he had just installed (I had selected them), Colyn made sure the second set of new lights were installed and that I was happy with them!  The few minor concerns that I had were quickly resolved by Colyn, and he was always very friendly and responsive to my questions.
I would recommend Kodiak Tile and Stone to anyone who is looking to remodel or update their home.  Whether your project is big or small, Colyn will work with you to achieve your goals on budget and on time.  You can tell that he takes pride in his work and wants his customers to be happy with the results. We could not be happier with the results.  He provided us a detailed estimate for each line item we wanted worked.  He was punctual and completed the project as promised.  He completed other jobs for us including installation of 3 ceiling fans.  He and his team are extremely organized and clean up at the end of each day.  Colyn kept us informed on what tasks were going to be worked on each day.
