Gateway Heating and Cooling

Brent and his crew from Gateway were outstanding! I own a 33 year old house that has suffered with a poorly designed HVAC system since it was built! 
I talked in detail to four different, reputable companies and Gateway rose to the top in every way possible. It became clear very quickly that Brent has a deep knowledge of the industry and what is needed in a variety of residential and commercial settings. 
Only one other company wanted to even look at our duct work; the others just wanted to throw a new AC unit on the house and move on to the next job. Brent took the time to size the new AC unit to our house (our previous one was too small) and he and his crew spent a lot of time checking and re-checking to ensure that all of the bad duct work was replaced and the new duct work was sized properly.
We had been living with a house that had several very hot rooms. Thanks to Gateway, my family is now comfortable in every room of the house.
To top it all off, his price was very competitive. 
Brent is honest, dependable, and just a good all-around guy! I have referred Gateway to several neighbors and friends and will continue to.

Brent came out with 2 days notice during this busy time of year (and I told him it was no rush because the issues were with secondary units).  I had one non-working thermostat hooked up to a unit that we rarely used. Brent replaced it with one on his truck and that unit functions perfectly now.
For another unit, I had swapped the thermostat out with another thermostat that I had..  Unfortunately, the thermostat I swapped it with was set up for a heat pump operation.  This caused the unit to blow both hot and cold air at the same time when I turned it on.  Brent figured out my mistake, reset the thermostat so it was set to work with my gas and electric unit, and had it working in no time.
On a third unit, we had a known freon leak that is VERY slowly leaking Freon.  They added freon and presented us with options for a replacement unit.  Adding the freon bought us time so we do not have to make a rash decision and can take our time.  
I cannot stress how professional and courteous Gateway is.  They were on time, ready to go and were done with the work in about an hour.  I use them for all three of my houses in Valley and they ALWAYS come in with the best bid and fix everything on the spot.
I have had a few different HVAC companies in the past but will never use anyone but Gateway again.

I could not be more happy with Gateway. I had Scottsdale Air come out to get my units working.  SCOTTSDALE told me I need and new compressor and fan motor for unit 2, along with coolant for the third unit. After a VERY high quote, I contacted Gateway to get a second opinion.  Brent from Gateway came out, diagnosed my units in about 15 minutes, and charged me 20% less for the coolant than the previous quote.  
For unit 2, he said there was no need to get new compressor as the one I had worked fine.  He fixed unit 3 as well and determined I did no need a new compressor only a minor weak and the unit fired right up.  
My total bill was under $1,000 and ALL of my units have been working PERFECTLY for the past 4 months.  I went from looking at a $4,000 + bill with scottsdale air, to under $1,000 with Gateway and the service was completed within 3 hours of when I called.  Cannot stress enough how happy I am with the service, price and overall experience.

My office heat pump failed on a Friday. Gateway came out within two hours and determined that my 15 year old unit needed replacement. The following Monday Brent came out in the morning to start the job and the new unit was in place and working by the end of the day Monday including the fabricating of a custom sheet metal shroud. Gateway saved the day. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
