Description of Work: The job entailed taking an old screened-in porch and making it into a year round space without losing it's "open porch" appeal. This meant taking down old wall & ceiling coverings, running some electric, insulating and putting up new walls and ceiling. We loved the wood that originally covered the ceiling and the crew meticulously removed it and was able to re-use it. Old stapled screen window openings had to be framed correctly and then new double hung, tip in windows were installed. The room was sheet rocked, primed and painted and then trimmed out. A man door was put in place where just a screen entrance once was. We wanted to keep the original porch flooring such as it was so an insulated belly-pan was installed below the floor in the walkout area beneath the porch.
