Renovations

The project came out great. We had a Casita built as well as a built in cooking area on our patio with a rustic pergola built over it.

Shawn of Mile High Tile came out quickly to look at the project and give me an estimate. All work, from the demolition of the existing tile to the grouting of the new tile was done beyond my expectations. Patrick with MHT was professional, friendly and worked and a nice pace to get the shower done. I can't say enough nice things about this company. Their tile work is fantastic and they really go the extra mile to make sure that things look right and put little custom touches on things to really make their work shine. I plan on calling them again to do my kitchen back splash.

Started on time. Well organized & managed. Very few problems, ones that came up were resolved quickly.  Responded well to personal preferences.  Project was completed on time to our satisfaction.

From the outset, this was the most professional, enjoyable experience I have ever encountered in all my years of dealing with contractors.  These folks are real pros.  They are not the cheapest in town, but they are worth  every penny.  They absolutely take the worry and detail management out of your hands and deal with it.  The customer service is second to none, as is their workmanship.  A project manager is assigned to your project and he nurses it through all of the various stages of the job.  My Project Manager is Dave and I cannot say enough good things about this guy...truly enjoyable to work with.  The crew that did the actual installation were knowledgeable, friendly and patient with my numerous questions---again, a joy to work with.  So, if you are looking for "cheap" look somewhere else, but if you want quality at a fair price, this is definitely the company I recommend, and I have alot of expeience with dealing with contractors (in other words, I'm old!).

Since Renovations purchases all the materials, it's impossible to determine the actual cost of the materials and labor.  I assume they did their best to control costs, but would have preferred to see the budgeted line items.  Some of the documentation that accompanied the materials (installation instructions, warranty, care & cleaning instructions) was not provided to us. We should have thought to request all the material before the construction began.
Renovations took the time to understand our desires and requirements.  They included us when making all the design decisions and kept us informed of their progress.   Mike Gringas meticulously planned the details and coordinated the efforts of all of the subcontractors, while dealing with the unexpected issues that arose.  If Mike was not happy with the outcome ? it was done over to his satisfaction. This led to a delay in the schedule, but was well worth it.  The remodeled bathroom exceeded our expectations - thanks to Mike and his highly skilled team's diligent efforts.
All of the employees and contractors were professional, punctual, and courteous.  We felt quite comfortable leaving them to work alone in our house when we had other commitments. The work and surrounding areas were kept clean and uncluttered.  No detail was overlooked, including professionally cleaning both the remodeled bathroom and nearby bedroom, raking the landscape rocks in our yard, and changing the air filter in the bedroom when the job was completed.  Shawn Vacca and his team at Mile High Tile did a superb job laying the tile.  Sean meticulously designed and aligned the diamond-shaped tile patterns, willingly cutting tiny pieces when necessary to ensure the proper placement of each and every tile. 
Renovations and the great team they assembled did a fantastic job making my dream bathroom a reality and I would highly recommend them if you are considering remodeling!

They are great.  Their foreman Mike is quite a guy.  They show up when they say they’re going to and they do what they say they’re going to do.  They’re not cheap but they’re good.  We get what we pay for we guess.  We’ve had good experiences in working with them and they are fine.  The wall was pretty expensive though.  Their plumbers are superb and they’ve done quite a bit of work for us.  We went back to them the second time because of the good work they did for us the first time.  The quality of their work is good and the materials used by them are also good.

It went very well.  There were no major glitches.  I wouldn't hesitate to use Renovations for the most complicated remodeling jobs.

We have a contract with them but the work has not been done yet.  The quote's been changed because we changed some of the work.  They were very friendly and very professional.  We still don't have the final quote.  We delayed them because we had other things we were doing and we were out of town as well.  It wasn't that they were slow but we were in Wisconsin for two weeks.  They were responsive.  They are going to do the work but it's just matter of me deciding on sinks and faucets.  They can't do anything until I tell them what I want.

He is by far the best contractor I have ever used. He is on time and finishes the job when he said he would.
