Peace of Mind is a very professional business. She came to visit and meet the pets before our trip. She has a written agreement to fill out that covers all health and protection concerns she would need to provide excellent care for our home and pets. This was our first time using Peave of Mind services. I had complete confidence in this service and would definitely use them again. Everything went extremely well. Laurie brings her own bedroll for overnights. It's no fuss for our family.

The provider was very responsive and even texted me to tell me things were going well or to ask me questions about my dog's routine.  Everything was in order when I returned an my dog was in excellent spirits.

Overall I am extremely pleased with the service and will continue to use Peace of Mind into the future.

Peace of Mind is very professional. Before starting the service, I was provided with a questionnaire including such emergency items as utility shut-off locations, vet preferences, and power-of-attorney forms in case my dog was injured or ill in my absence. The owner, Laura, then came to my home to meet the dog, get a briefing on medications, supplies, and other issues.

The owner, Laura, has been the sole provider of service. In other words, there has not been a parade of strangers in my home.

Laura takes excellent care of my dog, leaving written notes on each visit and mentioning any issues she may see. Additionally, she gathers mail, packages, and newspapers giving my house that "lived in" if I am gone longer than usual.

I would highly recommend Peace of Mind.

Laura is the best!  I've used her pet sitting services for over 5 years.  She is responsive, professional and totally trustworthy.  Her rates are very reasonable.  She truly loves animals and always gives a full report on how my kitty's days were while I was gone.  Best of all I always arrive home to a totally calm, well-cared-for happy cat.

Laura cared for our cat Harrison for a total of ten days when we were out of state for our daughters wedding. While we were gone, we contacted Laura a couple of times to check on our pet. Laura always responded promptly and was ready to answer any and all questions we had, giving us peace of mind during our absence from home. When we arrived home Laura had a detailed list of visitation times and play activities for our viewing. Laura is wonderful!  Great service, reasonable price, very professional and responsible.  Also took in our mail and newspaper so we didn't have to put a stop on them.

We just moved here about 4 months ago and did not know who would care for our two 'babies' while we go on vacation.  So we searched Angie's List and found Peace of Mind.  I contacted Laura and she came over, met the cats, and then we went over all of the information she needed.

I called Laura the day before we left to make sure she was still ready to come over the next day.  Then we went on our vacation and didn't worry.  When we returned, everything had been taken care of perfectly.  We will definitely be using her whenever we go away.  We had had the same person for about 15 years caring for our cats at our last house.  It is so nice to have the same sense of confidence in Laura that we had with our previous pet sitter.

I found out with only two days notice I had to attend a one-day convention out of town and could be away for 10 hours. That's a long day for my one-year-old pup so I wanted a pet sitter to check on both my little dogs mid-day. My previous pet sitter had moved and I hadn't found a replacement yet, but fortunately, the owner of Peace of Mind, Laura Harter, was able to meet with me and schedule a day visit for the next day. I felt very comfortable with her professionalism and my dogs loved her. Laura texted me from my house during her visit so I knew all had gone well and I had a worry-free day at the convention. I will definitely use her services in the future and highly recommend her and her company. When it comes to our pets, we all need a little Peace of Mind!

Laura was great! She came to our home prior to our leaving to get instructions and meet our pets. She brought nicely detailed forms along so that she had a profile on each pet. When we returned she had prepared a daily diary, all the litter boxes were clean and the pets were all in great shape. She even brought in all of the mail. We will definitely use Peace of Mind again.

My husband and I have two cats and two dogs. The animals mean so much to us but of curers we must leave town on occasion. We usually take the dogs with us because they are "high maintenance" but the cats prefer to stay home. We hired Peace of Mind to come and feed/care for the cats daily while we were gone one week. We were so pleased that next time we may leave the dogs also! We would recommend Laura Harter to anyone with animals or a home to check on while they are away. Our cats love her!!
