Kenco Tree Service

We are here visiting and in an RV park. Tree limb was dropped causing damage. Owner came out said I would be hearing from him and I had to hear from a 3rd party that he was not going to fix damage caused by them. Poor communication and a lack of concern to fix damage caused. Neighbors even witnessed the damage. As well as 3rd party had a different story from them them when I mentioned the entire RV moving of which they bumped into as well. What I was told and what I myself saw standing outside watching them work. I also have pictures but will not post them all here

Jess (new owner) is living off Dustin's great reputation. I would not rehire. A cactus was not completly removed. I've been waiting for weeks.

Contacted Jess for an estimate to remove 2 Sycamore Trees. He came out promptly and wrote up the estimate on the spot. The crew was available promptly to remove the trees and grind the stumps. They did an amazing job and cleaned up after themselves. I requested to keep some branches and they kindly accommodated. Since I didn’t want the wood they found someone that could use it, so it didn’t end up in the landfill, which I appreciated. Katie, the office administrator, was very helpful and efficient. Perfect experience.

We used Kenco once before and were happy with their work, but won't be using them again. They quoted tree trimming and removal on a per day rate. They did a good job of trimming the trees; however, the removal was not completed. One large pine tree was sawed into segments and left lying in place on the ground.  We called them about it and they came out to look, then told us it would cost $100 MORE for them to take it away.  Apparently the work crew works up to quitting time, then just walks away.  
It seems irresponsible to burden the homeowner with removing a pile of heavy tree trunk segments when removal was part of the quoted work.  The segments are way too heavy for us to lift and since we won't be giving this company any more work, we'll have to pay someone else to finish their job.  Very disappointing.

This is the second year we have use Kenco and we couldn't be more pleased.  Dustin has come out both times and he truly is a gem. The estimates/prices are fair and reasonable and he cleans up our yard so well! The tree he trims is very tall and awkward to get to yet he always does an admirable job. We highly recommend Kenco.

Following my initial call the the company I received prompt service from estimator Dustin. He gave me a written, signed estimate and stayed in touch with me by phone regarding when his crew would be able to perform the job. The crew showed up on time, completed the job and cleaned up so well that I couldn't tell that a tree had just been removed. Street was swept completely clean. Crew was professional and I would recommend this company whole heartedly.

I used Kenc to chip up a large tree I felled.  They arrived as promised and completed the job quickly.  They cleaned up all the branches, policing the are thoroughly.  Their employees were very friendly.

They did such a good job that we've hired them back to do a bigger job.  They did everything we asked them to do.  It was a lot of work.  They cleaned up after themselves.  Everything looks great

It all went great.  Came promptly to give an estimate, had a great price, got on the schedule timely, and when they came to do the work they were punctual, did the requested work very well, and cleaned up very nicely.  Would use them again for sure.

I recently bought property that had 25 years of growth over more than 5 acres.  The brush was so dense it was difficult walking through much of the property.  The job was pretty overwhelming so Kenco quoted a daily rate for a team to come in and remove the brush and trim a large number of oaks, pines and mountain junipers.  It was kind of risky entering into an open ended deal with no guarantee of when the work would be completed but since I was fee to cancel the job at anytime and for any reason, I signed them up.  I figured the job could take 5 to 8 days but signed up initially for 3 days because that was the only continuous time slot they had available.  Dustin was the company rep that I dealt with and he was professional and polite.  The team he sent consisted of two guys running chain saws and three cleaning up, hauling and chipping.  Dave ran the crew and was polite, communicative and took pride in his work.  Tyler was the other person running a chain saw and was an absolute machine.  He was nothing but business the entire 3 days.  The job was absolutely brutal but no one ever complained.  At the end of the 3 days, everything was accomplished that I had originally thought would take 5 to 8 days plus more.  I am very happy with there work and would not hesitate to sign them up again.

Kenco was extremely booked up but Dustin said our job was small enough that he would try to work us in on a "space-available" basis.  And so just a few days after giving us the estimate he called and came and did the job in less than an hour.  Dustin is a very personable and professional individual.  A pleasure to do business with him.

Boy, these guys were great.  Dustin responded to the request for quote within 1 hour and was there to review job and give a quote that afternoon.  The windstorm blew down a dead tree that was laying on the gazebo.  Dustin got it off the gazebo during the estimate review.  The crew that came out also trimmed three additional trees beside removing the tree that had been downed in the windstorm.  They did a great job, and our yard looks so much better having the trees trimmed.  They were professional and yet fun to interact with.  Thanks guys!!!!
