Grover Tree SVC

Over 2 1/2 days the Grover Tree Service crew cut down and pruned a number of small to large trees including taking down one 50' plus monster that was less 5 feet from a very large picture window and overhanging the flat roof by at least 15 feet. Rich dropped this tree exactly where he said it would go without damage to our house or surrounding trees.
I was particularly impressed with how thoroughly the crew cleaned up after the cutting and trimming was done. Not only did they removed all the limbs and branches, they also raked up and removed the old pine needles. They also cut large pieces to firewood length and stacked them.
I used several tree services in the Pacific Northwest prior to moving to Prescott and Grover Tree Service was less expensive and more efficient than either of those I used before. One thing that struck me was their use of the tools of their trade to accomplish the task at hand safely and quickly.

We had just moved to Arizona in September from Illinois and were used to high priced contractors that provided terrible service. I had found Grover in our local paper and had them come out to give us an estimate. Rick and his son were VERY professional and quoted me out a price that I honestly thought had a catch to it... It didn't.



They showed up on time and began working immediately. Throughout the process they kept me informed of what they were doing and helped me to understand what we needed to do to try and preserve the tree we were trying to save that they were thinning out. They had the entire job done in less than 3 hours and you would have never known they were there by how clean my yard was. I won't use anyone else in the future to touch our trees and I will recommend them to ANYONE who is in need of tree servicing.

My neighbor called a large tree service for work on his property and I was going to use them the same day so we could get a discount. However, I thought their bid was high so I called Grover Tree Service and I'm so glad I did. The other company's estimate for my property was $650 and Rich Grover quoted me $275! It was so much cheaper I also had him remove 7 additional trees and haul off a huge pile of grape vines I had cut earlier. That raised his total to $425, still much less than the other quote. My neighbor used him, too, and paid $180 instead of $600. We believe the work and cleanup were just as good as the higher priced company so we're both thrilled we called Grover. Work on my property: remove 2 large limbs and lower dead wood hanging over house from big ponderosa pine. Remove 1 limb each over garage from alligator pine and ponderosa pine. Remove lower limbs from one side of cypress close to house. Remove large limb from elm tree. Remove 7 scrub oaks and 1 elm, about 10 - 12 ft high, without destroying nearby trees. Trim scrub oak limbs close to electric and cable lines. Haul off large pile of grape vines. They are prompt and do a really good job. He has a stump grinder that he has on site so he can take the entire tree down. He is not pushy or anything and he told me how to take care of my trees. I give them A's in everything and will use them again in the future.
