Granite Mountain Veterinary

We've had good experiences with Granite Mountain. The costs are in line with what we've paid at other veterinary hospitals in other locations. The veterinary and staff are good with animals and professional.

I absolutely could not be more pleased with the care and follow-up. Someone from the office made regular phone calls over an extended period to check on how the dogs were doing and making sure we didn't have questions. When I did have a question, the vet called me back promptly.
I do not know how much vets typically charge in this area but the prices were significantly higher than what we experienced in Washington state. I do note that we left with medicines I chose to purchase, for example, glucosamine in chewable form for the dogs and a refill on pain pills for the older dog.
Both visits, we ended up waiting. One of those times was due to a delay in getting faxed records from our previous vet but I would have preferred that the visit with the vet would have proceeded as scheduled.
The facility is very clean. The staff and veterinarian are supremely courteous (and the coffee is excellent).

One example of Dr. Szeckley's kindness was when our old Springer Spaniel was having trouble standing on the stainless steel examining table, he sat on the floor with her and gave her an examination there.
Most animals are not happy about going to the vets, but all of our pets have not exhibited the anxiousness at Granite Mountain that we have seen in other places--a sure sign of the TLC given to them by all of the staff.

We go to the best vet. They do small animals and he is so kind. There was a very complimentary letter in the paper about him recently. He goes above and beyond and takes a personal interest in each animal that he treats. He is a very caring doctor with very reasonable pricing. He is a single practitioner and his staff is also very nice. I will use him again in the future.
