Garage Floors and More

The owner, Mr John Schaefer, personally prepared the floor of our four-car garage and applied three coats of epoxy sealant (primer, color coat with accent chips, and clear topcoat).  The job was completed over a three-day period as scheduled with no problems and I have already had numerous compliments on the quality of the job.  The charge for the floor epoxy coating was $3600.
He next contracted for a wall of garage cabinets and a separate cabinet over my workbench.  This work was subcontracted to Space Solutions, who did the actual fabrication and installation.  The main cabinets are 15 ft long by 8 ft high by 18 inches deep; the cabinet over the workbench is 4 ft long by 3 ft high by 16 inches deep.  The complete installation took a week longer than anticipated due to a scheduling conflict with the subcontractor.  The main cabinets were installed on the day scheduled, but the workbench cabinet couldn't be installed that day due to time constraints.  That installation was completed during the following week.  The cabinets look great and are very sturdy, holding quite a number of power tools and other equipment.  Cost for the cabinets including installation was $2300.
Finally, Mr Schaefer installed an overhead garage storage rack under a 14-foot garage stall ceiling.  This is a commercial grade rack, 12-feet long by 4 feet wide and hanging 3 feet from the ceiling.  Mr Schaefer again personally installed this rack and the job was done very well.  Cost for the rack including installation was $450.
Overall, I was very impressed with Mr Schaefer's quality of work and professionalism.  The finished products were excellent, the epoxy and storage rack work was started and completed as scheduled, and the delay in the completion of the cabinets fortunately had little impact on our schedule.  I highly recommend this company for garage epoxy floor coatings and storage requirements.
