Appliance Repair, Appliance Sale
We had a burning smell from our washing machine. Instead of ruining whatever was going on with it, we decided to replace it before any further damage was caused. Charlie said he was happy to sell us a repaired unit, but offered to take a look at ours as an option to repair it for less.
He was on time and gave our current washing machine a very good test. It passed okay and he let us know that we had good washer and dryer units, and that there was no danger to run the washer until it didn't work anymore. It was likely that we ran too many loads back to back which could have caused the smell of burning symptom.
He took only $10 for the house call from us and said to call him if anything else was needed in the future. He was pleasant, professional and not condescending for our lack of knowledge on washers.
We're sure to use him again when the need arises!
He's low tech, meaning no email nor uses his laptop often. But he is sure high tech when it comes to repair and honesty!
