Sylvan and his crew did an outstanding job tearing out 1800sf of old flooring, installing new floors, and new baseboard in our home! Everything they touched was done with precision and care. Sylvan worked with our schedule to see that all was complete before our furniture was moved in. The crew was a delight to have in our home...it is clear they truly like their work and they aimed to please. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

We just replaced almost an entire household of dated carpeting with luxury vinyl and were blessed to have Desert Hardwood Flooring do the job. After 8 days, Chris and Nic felt like family--they not only did a great job but added a number of finishing touches that made the house sparkle, and they couldn't have been nicer or more patient with us being in the middle of things. The price was also more than reasonable and the project was completed on time. Thank you, Sylvan and your team!

These guys did a great job. Sylvan was awesome - we already had hardwood floors but wanted the carpets replaced in 3 rooms. Our flooring was no longer available and Sylvan gave us ideas on what would work. The team of guys - Nick, Chris and Hunter did an absolutely amazing job of installing and meeting our requirements so that we were not inconvenienced in any way. Job was done quickly and perfectly. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The new floors look wonderful against the existing floors. They exceeded my expectations.

It went great. Sylvan and his guys removed the travertine in our kitchen, living room and hallways plus carpet in two guest bedrooms. They put plastic over all the walls which actually stayed up during the entire demo. We have been thru this before and let me tell you, it is usually a mess but not this time. Sylvan had vacuums attached to the grinders and chippers and they did an amazing job containing all the dust. They cleaned up every night. They were also on time each day and let us know their schedule. Honestly, it could not have gone better. They are here again, finishing two large rooms with the same wood. It is so beautiful. We have had someone come to look at the floors and she has decided to put them in her new build also. Let me tell you, you will not be disappointed with Sylvan and his guys.

I can NOT say ENOUGH about Sylvan and Desert Hardwood Flooring! He was AMAZING!!! I have a "round" house- and love wood- and didnt think I would be able to have it due to the curving walls and windows. Sylvan came up with a design that looks so gorgeous and we love our wood floors. He was timely, extremely helpful, top notch customer service, and we had multiple trades happening at once. Sylvan took time to cover the entire floor with protective paper so it would not get scratched by the other trades. He has bent over backwards to ensure we are happy- and even come back 2ce to finish up areas that he couldn't due until other trades were completed. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Desert Hardwood Flooring! It was a very challenging job- and he NAILED it!

I would recommend Desert Hardwood Flooring very highly. We had the whole house done with the exception of the bathrooms. Owner Sylvan Incao is not just a flooring installer, he's an artist. He goes over each piece of wood he installs meticulously and chooses the exact board that is best for the particular area he's working on. Our house wasn't an easy house to do because of the many angles, but Sylvan and his crew figured everything out and it came out absolutely beautiful. They were all polite, respectful of your belongings, timely, professional and honest. You'll never find anyone else in Prescott that can do the superb high quality work that Desert Hardwood Floors does. Don't go anywhere else.

Sylvan and his crew at Desert Hardwood Flooring, as well as Ricky who he brought in for the tile work, were fabulous. Attention to detail is extraordinary. The quality of the workmanship is unparalleled. I am a bit of a perfectionist, but there is not a single aspect that was not already perfect in the quality of the work, from initial planning to final execution. Sylvan is very easy to deal with and and tackled a big job with ease producing a result beyond expectations.

The hardest part of writing this review is where to start…..My husband and I moved to Prescott a little over a year ago, bought a twenty year old 4400 square foot house that needed lots of love, and completely gutted it. We decided to do 4000 square feet in hardwood and found a beautiful European Oak, eight inch plank in cream, grays and muted blue, and it’s fabulous. The main reason it’s incredibly beautiful is because of Sylvan Incao, owner of Desert Hardwood Flooring. Sylvan is truly an artist with an eye for color and detail. Being a designer myself, I was blown away by how he placed each piece in such a way, alternating the character to accent each plank, that it resembles an elegant canvas of color and texture. Every day I walk around this home and marvel at his expertise and talent. It’s stunning. Then there are the stairs. We have Oriental carpets and planned to put a runner down to the lower level with carpet rods. When I saw the stairs and the pieces Sylvan had chosen for the bull nose, treads and risers, I knew the Oriental runner wasn’t going to happen. They’re just too pretty to cover up. When you walk up or down the stairs, your eyes are drawn to swirls and color and texture and design that very few people appreciate or are capable of designing, but that’s just Sylvan. Professionally, Sylvan and his crew, Jessie and Ricky, are beyond reproach. They arrive on time, totally clean everything up before they leave daily and their work ethic is amazing. Plus they play great music! All in all, Sylvan is the ticket. Do yourself a favor. If you’re in the market for hardwood and want the best, call Sylvan.

Great experience! We had close to 850 sq. ft. of hardwood flooring installed. The job also required quite a bit of ceramic floor tiling to be removed first. Sylvan walked me through what to expect during the process (so much dust!) and how long it would take. He has a wonderful selection of hardwoods. The work was on schedule and the end result is amazing! I can tell they take pride in their work.

We recently replaced the carpeting in our house and moved to Wood Flooring. The final product turned out fantastic. The product we selected fit our house beautifully , complementing the furniture and other wood in the house. Could not be happier. What we thought was important about our decision to go with Desert Hardwood Flooring - owner Sylvan Incao: They were there when they said they would be. They were professional in doing their job and demonstrated great skills in installing and solving installation barriers. The second person on the job was also a skilled craftsman – So you do not get one person and an unskilled helper – always looking over their shoulder. Two professionals made the job go quicker. Most important - I had tried to work with a few of the Carpet / Wood companies in Prescot Valley. You just could not get them to come out and give ideas on what to use and how proceed forward. How to deal with different types of wood and colors. IN the end after a couple meetings at the house we chose a fantastic flooring that really compliments the house. That is what we were looking for. Would definitely recommend to other people looking to put down wood flooring

Great. I had called several flooring companies to get estimates for hardwood floors and found the cost to be over our budget. Sylvan was the only one who seemed interested in getting us what we needed and eventually we went with him for laminate flooring, which seemed to work better from a cost perspective. He showed us the InHaus brand of laminate flooring and it looks fantastic. We are satisfied and would use him again if the opportunity arises.

We were in need of replacing carpet and wanted wood/laminate flooring.

calm, friendly and professional. His attention to detail is excellent!

Came out to look over job and bid, got back to me in 2 days with price, took deposit, delivered the materials and began job a week later.  Did the work in 3 days and was on time, polite and cleanup or job after work was excellent.
