I am disappointed with how long you have to wait. When I am trying to do a search, I get a box that states nothing is responding. I hit it a few times and still nothing happens. The download speeds are very slow. If you try and watch a video, it pauses a few seconds in and is trying to download the video. It is the worst internet service.

Description of Work: Service was placed on hold while we were at out other home. They have no charge to do this, unlike Cox, who charges exorbitant fees to place a derive on suspension while not at that home. Really like their easy to deal with service.

Description of Work: One tech told us one thing, the next tech told us something totally different. Had much trouble with internet until second tech came to sort it out. Have to use analog tv due to area we live in (not Cable Ones Fault). However we didn't know that until installation time. Would have used a different provider if we had been informed before we went ahead with Cable One.

Description of Work: They were not able to hook me up on the first visit. They had to run a cable - another co does that. So I down graded my services to just Internet and use DirectV - they are awesome.

The accessibility of information is difficult. I can't get a hold of their local office, and their website does not report if there is something wrong, so I can't log in and see what the issue is. When I call, it is some guy in Phoenix. I have driven down to talk to them twice. The second time, things were really serious and there wasn't one technician there. I can't understand because there was a lot of stuff going on. The overall responsiveness of the organization is poor, because of communication. The guys that come do come when they say they are going to come. The same services are cheaper in other areas, they have a monopoly in this area. I don't have a choice but to use them in the future.
Description of Work: I use Cable One. I have internet and Land line with them. I had Cable TV with them in the past, but I cancelled it a year ago.

Description of Work: Century Link could not provide my internet in our new home until later in July. Our DTV installer warned us that our actual internet speed would be around 5 mbps, not the advertised "up to" 20 mbps. I cancelled the internet order with Century Link and ordered through Cable One. They were fast, courteous, and professional, and we had great internet service within a few days of my call.

The installer was courteous and gave me choices on the routing and placement of the new line. I was very satisfied.

They first blamed it on our equipment, then they said it was our modem (which they replaced)..none of that fixed our problem. We were on the phone everyday with someone and since no one has yet to figure out the problem we have been without steady phone or internet. A service tech came out today (2/14/2014) and took the same readings and did the same checks the last several techs did and then told us he would call the maintenance department and they would probably be out on Monday, 2/17/2014. I told him that was not acceptable. In the meantime, we are without phone service until who knows when. Cable One is the most unprofessional company we have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. We are looking for ANY company that will provide internet and phone service to replace them.
Description of Work: We have had intermittent phone (mostly non-existent) & internet service for 1 1/2 months. The phone has been virtually unusable for the first half of February. When a call is made to the local office in Prescott, AZ, it is automatically transferred and you end up talking to someone in the Phoenix office. We have called them dozens of times and they have sent out service techs and maintenance techs and no one can find the problem. Every technician we have spoken with at the Phoenix office has said our numbers were all over the place and there was certainly a problem with our service.

The installer was courteous and did a nice job of hiding the cable as best he could around the back of our house instead of putting it across the front, which we did NOT want. He went under the house with the spiders to use the existing cable access under our den floor instead of taking the easy way out and drilling a hole in our outside wall. The non-digital channels are a bit and quot;fuzzyand quot; compared to the HD we're used to. But we don't watch TV that much and we're pleased. We got what we paid for. We can always upgrade later if we want to.

If I were to deduct the international callings that I make, the bill is roughly about $149 to $179, but it's about $249 to $260 depending on how frequently I call out. Their customer service is wonderful. I know that because I have to call them frequently as our service drops quite frequently being in a little bit of a rural area. It's a good service when it's working, but it drops a lot. Their service is great when it works, but it doesn't always work. When the internet cuts out or when the cable cuts out or when the modem cuts out or when the phone doesn't work or nothing works, it's from anywhere between 2 minutes and 20 minutes which is pretty inconvenient.
