This request was not an emergency; however, they promptly replied to our request. They were efficient, friendly and proud of their work. We would use them again.

My hot water heater would periodically go into "lockout mode", which means the propane tried to ignite the heater but failed to do so, and the ignition attempt fails after 60 tries and locks the water out from trying anymore. You have to unplug the power vent and plug it back it to reset it to get it to work. The guys from Alphbet plumbing (you get the owner and his assistant) stayed with the problem, contacting RUUD support and determined I had a bad part that needed replacing. They ordered the part and when it came they installed it. Other plumbers refused to come work on it, because it was a RUUD and they had no experience with RUUD hot water heaters. However, Chet, from Alphabet plumbing likes a challenge and came over to troubleshoot the prolem and fix it.

When we got to our new home in Prescott, my husband noticed that the water heater was leaking. We looked through Angie's list for a plumber and called Alphabet Plumbing. They were able to come out the next morning and replace the Temperature and Pressure relief valve. He also checked out the water heater thoroughly and spent time answering all of my husband's questions. We also had a faucet handle broken on one of our tubs and he gave us some helpful information on where to find the replacement parts so we could fix it ourself.

I called regarding dishwasher and kitchen water pressure issues. He was able to make it workable until he could order a part from the manufacturer.

They arrived when promised and went right to work. They took the time to show me how this happened and educated me on prevention. They replaced the faucet/pipe and examined the inside of the wall for water damage. None found. They worked quickly, cleaned up
