AARDVARK HEATING & COOLING

We had 5 estimates given to us before we found Mark. All of the competitors told us that our A/C system was too old, not serviceable, and that it needed to be replaced. The cheapest estimate we received was $3,900.00 and the most expensive was $5,600.00. We were ready to shell out these big bucks during the dog days of summer when we found Mark & Aardvark here on Angie's List and decided to get just one more estimate. We completely expected him to tell us the same thing all the others did, but he didn't! He actually told us the opposite--that our A/C system, although older, was definitely one of the best-made for it's time and that all it needed was to be recharged and serviced (and it also had a broken capacitor that was also to blame for not running properly). Mark saved our A/C and our finances! He was friendly, fast, efficient, honest, upfront, and professional. We would recommend his services to anyone in a heartbeat--even over MANY of the local HVAC companies that we called from the Yellow Pages! And we will most definitely use him again in the future! This was the second time we've had Aardvark do our system checks, the previous time was 3 years ago when our larger unit froze up. Both times, Mark was extremely efficient, neat and thorough and arrived at the agreed-upon time. His $50/unit charge for system checks is generally less than other companies have been stating in their ads here in the Prescott area. Cost for the Freon was $27.50/lb (I think the unit of measure is pounds) and my larger unit needed 5 pounds. I will definitely be calling Aardvark again for routine or emergency maintenance on my units.
