About us
As of October 1st, 2015 Western Sky PC will no longer be in business. Although we have enjoyed a successful and prosperous five years, we have grown to the point that change needed to be made. The choice was to continue to expand or to downsize. After much contemplation we came to the decision that the best option for our family was to downsize to strictly providing business IT support. The storefront location and furnishings have been sold to KC Lyon and his business PC Simplicity. We are endlessly grateful to all of our clients that have given us their business and support and wish them nothing but good fortune and happiness going forward. The computer has had this problem for over two years and I have had other technicians work on it without success. I am very pleased with the efforts made and suspect that it is finally fixed.
I did pay $71.10 for service on the laptop and it is running somewhat faster.
I found Western Sky PC on Angie's List after my (less than 18 month old) computer failed. The laptop refused to start for two whole days. Western Sky PC is open on Saturday, so I dropped in and explained what had happened. When I attempted to show them what was happening, the computer began working again. Classic, right? One would expect a moment of embarrassment, but their reaction at Western Sky PC was to jump in and help me copy some of my more important files onto a flash drive, anticipating that the computer could shut off again at any moment. Then, they tested my power cord, and I arranged to come back on Monday.
Throughout the weekend, my computer worked fine. As you can imagine, I backed-up all my files, copied all my files, and ran all the antivirus & diagnosis maintenance functions I could find. The computer continued to work without any problems whatsoever.
So, on Monday morning, I went back to Western Sky PC and told Justin what had happened. I said that I'd be back if the problem resurfaced. Justin never tried to sell me anything -- in fact, he refused payment for both the help with the file transfers and the power cord check.
After my recent experience and reading the other reviews on Angie's List, I couldn't be any more convinced -- Western Sky PC is the place to go for IT support in the Prescott tri-cities area.

"I'm glad to hear that the system was satisfactory when all was said and done. I truly apologize for the mishaps on our part. The tech tools disc that was left in your system serves multiple purposes. One of the main purposes is to automatically run a few basic diagnostic tools to make sure all is OK with the system before we continue using other tools. It also has various other tools usually to aid in fixing the most current software problems out at the moment. So the technician when the system is restarted has to bypass the initial start up diagnosis so that he can access necessary tools. if it is not bypassed at start up it continues,all over again, running the diagnostic tools. Part of our check list is to make sure that all tool discs are removed from the system before a computer goes home. Protocol was not followed in this case and that was not acceptable on our part. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience and hope that we can have the chance to provide you with acceptable service in the future.
