"Hi [Member Name Removed], Thanks for your feedback. We will definitely take your observations into consideration. Let me explain our process and the reason it is important for our clients. I come out to do a free consultation so that we find out your particular needs and preferences. This visit is also very important for scheduling the cleaners for the right amount of time because they will likely be coming from a house prior to yours and going to another after yours. The estimated price is given to the client at that visit. When additional duties are added after the estimate visit, we can sometimes just do them if they are quick and do not add additional time, but often we will need to know how much more time that task will take so we can adjust the days schedule and the cost if needed. Additional duties usually do take extra time and therefore will usually add to the cost of the visit. The visit from the estimator at the beginning and any visit from a supervisor or inspector is provided at no cost to the client as a [Member Information Removed] of insuring our best quality. It is our goal to provide quality service with consistent results in a timely manner. We value your business and hope this helps you to understand our process. Thanks again! Maid to Order, AKA MTO Janitorial, has been cleaning my office for many years.
The owner is friendly and hard working.
Her office person April is also friendly, efficient and knowledgeable on the operation.
The cleaners arrive over the weekend, do their job well, and do not mess with my desk space or file space, which is important for my office security.
I recommend Maid to Order, or MTO Janitorial.
One cleaning, right after they left, I went over and the smoke alarm was beeping, for a new battery. No one called to advise me.
I would not recommend them.
Always prompt and timely.
I would recommend Maid To Order.
"In response to this review, it is important to mention to make sure a good inspection is done before any renters move in. We do have a satisfaction guarantee policy if any of our clients are not satisfy with the cleaning level they are welcome to call with in 2 days. If is a rental property they need to call before any new tenants move in, and we will be more than happy to go back and fix any cleaning situation at no extra charge."

Lucy, the owner came to my home & we discussed what needed to be done. My home is a1100 Square Foot, 1935 Cottage near the Court House of Prescott AZ, so we're not talking Mac Mansion by any means!! She walked around my tiny place and I let her know there was a special event at the Cottage in a few days. I expressed the BASEBOARDS being cleaned, Fan blades, and Ironstone on the ledge above the Stove were very important!!! These are area's I can no longer clean, since I have had Spine Surgery. "No Problem, I'll mark those items down, so special attention will be made to them" said Lucy, the Owner of this Company.
Lucy quoted me $180.00 to do this 1 time cleaning......keep in mind, I really don't have a dirty house, just needed a spring cleaning, so I would be able to enjoy my guests that weekend, with out the back pain that comes with normal cleaning.
I even took her into my Garden, and offered her Eggplant (12), Serrano peppers, tomatoes (10), Zuchinni (5), and other goodies which she gladly took home. As Lucy was leaving, I asked what the cleaners would be using on my Original 1935 Wood Floors..........Lucy said "we only use water, because cleaners leave a film floating in the wood". Although I use Bona on my Wood Floors, and had never had a cleaner use water, it seemed better that some dollar Store Cleaner!
The cleaning crew arrived as scheduled, 8:00 am, the day before my guests would arrive. They got to work quickly, and all 3 cleaning girls in different rooms. I headed outside on the back patio with my 2 Doxie's, so we would not be in the way. Half way through the cleaning, one of the Girls asked me to check the bath tub, to see if it was clean enough. Since it is a vintage tub, cleaning it to sparkle like a modern tub, is not going to happen, I told her it was wonderful. When the girls were done, I was told I could come back in. I asked one of the girls what she was cleaning my 1935 wood floors with, because I could smell a Lemon Cleaner smell, (Please remember, Lucy had told me "We only use water, because cleaners leave a film Floating on the top of the wood") the House cleaner pulled out a Bottle of Lysol Antibacterial Cleaner, and stated " People like the clean Lemon smell, so we use this, and AJAX some times too"............... WAIT!!!! WHAT!!!????? On my Original 1935 Floors? Too late to say anything, she was just finishing up the entry way!
An "Quality Inspector" (part of Lucy's team) come by to make sure the job is done correctly. hahahahahaha!!!!
As the "Quality Inspector" and I walked around my tiny Cottage, I noticed the Fire place Mantle had never been dusted. Then looked down at the baseboards..........they had a liquid that had been splashed and dried on there, and they had failed to clean that toooo! Entering the kitchen, I noticed to Fan Blades in the Dining Room were Filthy with the dust build-up, and the glass Globes had never been Windex !! The Kitchen Glass Cabinet Fronts were covered in finger prints, and the lower cabinets had never been wiped down, then looking at the baseboards.........well, well, they had not been wiped either!!!.....Really??? Remembering Lucy said " No Problem, special attention will be made to them"
I then looked up......the White Ironstone Pottery was covered in a cooking oil & dust film!!!! When pointing it out to the "Inspector", she asked the girl who cleaned the Kitchen, her response was "I cleaned all that" WHAT.....????? I'm Looking Right at it!!!!
At that point, I was about to loose my temper, (remember, I had just pointed out 8 problems), and I asked them to leave. The best part *******The "Inspector" handed me a Number card, and asking "What is this for", the "Inspector" answered "For your future Cleanings, if you fill up the boxes, you get a free cleaning" Perhaps, they should have these cards for screw ups, because I could never see anyone using them more than the first Horrible cleaning Box!!
I made 3 calls to the Cell # on Lucy's Business card, and left messages...........10 days later, Oddly I haven't heard from her........hmmmmmmm!!
"We have offered 100% satisfaction guarantee to all of our clients since we begin operations in 2005. That is exactly why we send our Quality Assurance Supervisor out after every first time cleaning. We do this not only because we care about the quality of the job done, but also because we are new to the house and it is helpful to have a fresh set of eyes from our company, to look everywhere and make corrections if something was missed. In addition, we are available at any time to return to the home and re-clean any areas in question, if our clients are not satisfied. At the time of every estimate a copy of all our policies that state all of the above are reviewed with the client, and a physical copy is left with them. In this particular case, the client did not make us aware that she was not satisfied with the cleaning. At the time of this house cleaning, our Quality Assurance Supervisor inspected the house, and the owner pointed out a few minor things she wished to be done, and the cleaners did them. Everyone in our company left the property thinking everything was fine. The homeowner called the office later that day, and asked to speak with me (owner of the company) but I was very ill at the time and not at the office. The client did not tell our Customer Relations Manager why she was calling, and did not register any complaint. I was unable to return to the office for four days because of my illness. I was informed that the homeowner had called, but never knew she was dissatisfied, since she did not tell us why she was calling. Otherwise, I would have called her immediately - sick or not! Later, when I saw the client in person in our small town one day, I asked her about the cleaning, and it was the first time I was made aware that she was upset. I offered to do whatever she wished to rectify the situation, but she wouldn't speak with me about it. After the chance meeting I left a message on her home phone, and have not heard from the client since. Shortly after that we received this review on Angie's List. What we do is simplify our clients cleaning needs, and I am not satisfied until my clients are. So, we just wish we had received authentic and timely feedback from this customer, so we could satisfy her wishes. Lucy Leyva, Owner Prescott Maid to Order, LLC"
