Prescott Granite

Did not go well.  Many of the tiles were not up to standard and installer laid them anyway.   When I saw this I complained and company sent more tiles, many of them in the same shape as the last batch.  I had to select the "best of the bad" and go thru the very messy job of the them breaking up the tile floor again with it's accompany dust and dirt to have a floor that I am really not satisfied with.  I was going to have carpeting installed by them but after this experience I cancelled the order.

I can't praise the cutters from Prescott Granite enough. They did an outstanding job matching and cutting the materials. We choose the Revolution Wave, which is much more difficult to cut and match up with the backsplash. It turned out fantastic and they even made me a window sill out of my material to match up. One more plus was that we were able to participate in the layout of the slaps.

I really liked that.

The Installers did a great job to install the countertops. Very clean and efficient workers. Cleaned up when they were finished.

Everybody who comes into my house comments on the counter tops.

I am more than happy with the whole job. I would definitely hire them again.

Update: On the island was a very small nick in the materials. After talking to Tina about that she said that someone would come out and take care of it. They did and I can't even see where it was. Excellent service.

Someone from Carpet One came out and inspected the flooring and agreed that this board with the very big ugly knot should be changed. I am waiting to hear from them when this will be done.



Also I should get credit for materials I was billed for but did not get used. Quite a few hundred dollars.



I will see what happens.

Update: They did send someone out to change the board. It looks much better. Plus they also agreed to credit me for the materials which where not used.

Entire process was great. Very nice people to deal with. Everyone I met was very nice and professional. All counter tops were installed as scheduled and they look beautiful. I would use them again and highly recommend Prescott Granite.

The install went well. The whole process of picking out the granite went very well, allowing us to go to the granite supplyer to view the slabs as a whole 3 slabs total. After the template was sent to the granite fabricators we were part of the decision as to which slab was put where in the layout. That was a huge plus to me. The good rating on quality was the installers made one mistake, which was having 2 support columns cut down by 3/8 of an inch when the real problem was they didn't screw the base down all the way. Thus after seating the screws I had to glue the pieces back in the top of the column which can be seen. Other than that the install was professionelly done.

I used this company because of the price and they had been referred. I would use them again they were good. We went with the granite; we got to lay it out how we wanted it on the slab. The price was good.

I would give them good ratings. They're prompt, the owner does the estimate, I like that, all his employees are polite and courteous. The price was competitive. I would use them again in the future if I can afford to.
