Kooiman Construction, Inc.

Avoid doing business with Dave Kooiman at Kooiman construction. He is the husband of Jeri Ann Kooiman Realty. I hired him to build a house and he presented me with fake invoices, invoices for work not completed and invoices that were 45% higher than the work performed. The total rip off amounted to nearly $20,000! I did not realize this until after he had been paid. After being paid he informed me he was quiting and would not be reimbursing me for nearly $20,000 which I had paid him for work never completed. He is a sham man who creates fraudulent invoices, never completed work paid for and never responds to phone calls. I intend to file a criminal complaint with the Yavapai County Sherriff office. Also will notify the AZ Register of contractors so he can be investigated. I just want to warn others about Kooiman Construction he is a conman and rip off artist. BTW a friend of mine had an identical experience with Dave Kooiman presenting fraudulent invoices for payment. If

I design homes myself and I am very picky, so this was the first home that someone else took care of for us. We worked long distance with David through the whole process. He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, anything I asked he helped with asap - he is amazing! His subcontractors were also amazing. He made sure he was looking out for us. He is extremely personable, patient and again very knowledge. I have recommended him to 3 others!

David built a custom home for me. He is easy to talk to, easy to get in touch with, if you need to get with him he is readily available. He takes your input, really keeps you in mind by finding good bang for your buck.
