it went ok.  I had asked them to change the oil too and they forgot.  The cost was a few hundred more than quoted and by that point, they had already taken the car apart.  So it didn't really leave us much option since we were paying for labor already.  The was was good, but the price was too much and they forgot to do part of the job.  By the end of the job, I just wanted to get my car back.

|Next day I arrived at the appointed time, they were waiting and immediately began work.

|The work was finished ON TIME and ON THE QUOTED FEE, and it appeared to have been accomplished professionally.

|The technician was open and friendly, owner's wife (the reception person and cashier) was nice to work with. The owner appears to be a nice guy, though he doesn't say much and keeps pretty much to himself.

|They have two friendly shop dogs who love attention.

|Shop facilities are SPOTLESS!

I went in because my brake pedal went to the floor with practically no braking power. I am not a mechanic but I suspected my master cylinder as when the pedal was pressed I saw no leakage from my brake lines from underneath (1994 Toyota 4-Runner). I told them what I THOUGHT it was and was relieved to find out it was just a leak in my brake line. High marks for integrity. My only complaint was communication. Granted they were very busy at the time of my visit...but they didn't call me before they started work. Since it was a minor repair and they really needed to fix the leak before checking for other problems I will give them a pass. I would absolutely take my vesicle back!

I have used KC Auto for over 8 years. They are honest, competive in pricing, and very dependable. I would not turst repair of my 95 Jeep to any other auto repair. Customer service is very important to them, and they are tops!

Spoke to Lisa who helped us find a salvage transmission since we planned to sell our vehicle. She tracked one down with low miles, the mechanics installed it within just a couple of days and we left only paying $1300.00. This is the second time we've used KC Auto and we've been EXTREMELY satisfied. They are the kindest people, are honest to the core and are fair in price. We'll be taking another vehicle there this week and then ongoing for regular maintenance. They work on any vehicle with any problem. We're certainly blessed to have found them. You won't be sorry taking your vehicles to them. Thanks Lisa and Conrad! You guys ROCK!

The transmission on my car was shifting hard from 1st to 2nd. They diagnosed a worn bushing and replaced it. Ran fine after that. They could have said the transmission needed rebuilding but didn't.

My transmission was shifting very hard from 1st to 2nd. Whiplash style hard. KCs could have told me I needed a new transmission but it turned out it was just a bushing. They replaced it and also listed some things I should watch. After living in Missouri and dealing with all the ripoff mechanics there, KC was a marvelous experience!
