Our experience with Able & Ready was outstanding. From the first meeting with Amanda and Scott through the remodel of the kitchen backsplash with Clarence and Greg, their professionalism and attention to detail is impeccable. They communicated with us through every step of the remodel and the work was completed as scheduled. We will use Able & Ready for any future home remodel projects and highly recommend them to everyone we meet. Thanks again Able & Ready team! Tammy & Rich R.

Stay away from Able and Ready if its for flooring. Lowe's of Prescott uses them, so we had no choice. Able and Ready uses Jim Bizek of KJB Custom Interiors to lay flooring. A 1 day job turned into 7 weeks and then we still went with someone else. When Jim arrived the 1st time he couldn't lay the flooring because Lowe's put it in the garage so it wasn't acclimated. The next time Jim arrived he removed the toilet in the master and said there was moisture throughout the floor and possible mold. He went on to say our floors were not level and that we would need the current vinyl removed. He would have to return to grind down the underneath concrete. We removed all the vinyl and there was no moisture and no mold. Jim returned a week or so later only to say he would not grind the floors because of fear of asbestos or fiberglass in the remnants left on the floor. Our home was built in 2005, thus there's no fear of asbestos. We took samples of the particles Jim feared to two different places and they said the black backing was embossing leveler and that the sparkles were the manufacturer's glue identifier. Amey from Lowe's told us she would talk to Turc at Able and Ready regarding Jim's fears. More than a week later he again returned and said someone (?) had told him we had it professionally tested for asbestos. We had not. Even after he spoke with Turc and Byron at Able and Ready he again refused to grind the floors stating that no one would sign off for liability. In the meantime, his helper ripped up, broke and disposed of flooring transition pieces that were attached to flooring we were not having replaced. It became obvious at that point either Jim didn't know what he was doing or as many have said, he simply didn't want to do the job. At that point, we decided we were done with Jim, Able and Ready and Lowe's. We returned all the material for a full refund. Since then another flooring company has come in, said the exact same thing about there being no asbestos and that the black and sparkles were embossing and glue identifier. In addition, they said the kitchen floor did not need grinding and said rather than grinding the master bath floor, it could be easily floated. That’s the short story of it all, but consider yourself warned about using Lowe's in Prescott as long as they use Able and Ready to install flooring.

Turk Hartmann is super professional and knowledgable. Very honest and transparent about costing, what's possible, what's not, what to expect. Felt in very good hands with him and his company.

I set up an appointment with Able and Ready to discuss a partial renovation on my second home in Prescott. Tonyalee came April 1st. We discussed what we wanted done and she had some good ideas. She said she would text us pictures of some materials for the reno for our consideration and that we would have a quote in 2-3 weeks. We were very excited to see what her plans were. 3 weeks later I contacted her, no response. I contacted her a few days later and all i got back was a one line email saying "I'm still waiting for quotes". Meanwhile 9 weeks later, we hired another contractor and had all the work done. He did an amazing job at a very good price. Still haven't heard from Tonyalee. I don't know if the job was too small or what her issue was, but if that was the case then she should have told us that from the beginning. I would not recommend this company. Very unprofessional.

Workers showed up on time and completed the job in near record time. House looks great. Price was a little high, but glad to pay since the process was so quick and we were able to move in on time. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My Dad says that this company is great, just the guy that they sent out was a little lacking in the motivation department. He had a hard time getting this gentleman to show up on time and complete the job in a timely manner. However, my Dad has not called the office and discussed this with the owners yet. Overall he liked the company AND that they responded to him quickly.

I am in the middle of a remodel on my house and WILL be calling these guys for my drywall.

Don't let the one unmotivated employee deter you from calling this company. They are great at what they do.
