Some external parts can purchased via Internet at some savings but limits internal parts to their certifiable parts contractors for warranty conditions.

They do a really good job. They are great to work with.  They were convenient. They were able to pick me up and take me to work. They worked with me on my schedule and got the car back to the same day.

My experience was very good.  They were very good about following up with me. They were very professional and they were honest about their pricing.  Their price was comparable to other companies in the area.

They are just fabulous. They are very honest and customer focused. They are very gracious and I feel I know the owner since they are locally owned. I have never been let down.

They were great! I would use their service again.  The dealer wanted to charge me $300 and they only charged $56. They were responsive and super helpful. They are also very friendly.

They did not diagnose the problem on my car properly. I had to take my car somewhere else. They are nice to work with and they are easy to talk. The shop was very clean and top notch.

I know them for 15 years and I like them very much. They are not overly expensive nor they offer a discount, but they do good work. They are very friendly, clean and they are very good. I've had very nasty problems with my dealer, so I handed over my Nissan to Virginia to replace the clutch and it is doing fine now. Virginia also took care of my previous car that I owned for 13 years. I intend to service my new car there until it dies.

I have been going to them for years. They are excellent. They are always very conscientious. I never had to take the car back after they had repaired something. They are very honest and fair.

I started going to Virginia because I was so frustrated with Camelback Toyota. Virginia was good, but I still had a hard time believing I needed to fix all that they suggested. I trusted them with most of the items they highlighted and ignored them on the others. Ultimately the fixes and services they perform are great. Last summer when I had a major issue with the hybrid engine and the AC, Toyota simply said there was nothing they could do. IT'S A TOYOTA CAR!! But Virginia bailed me out and because of that I'm inclined to trust them. Plus, they are extremely friendly and reasonable to work with.

Fuel pump went out and got the car towed to Virginia auto.  Called the up and let them know we were on the way and might be coming in after closing hours.  That was not an issue.  They performed the work along with fixing a few smaller items (battery cable) and something else?  forget.  Good in all aspects I would go back.

My daughter took her car in for a $45 diagnostic test of her car to determine why it had a shimmy.  She came out with an estimate of over $3700 for repairs.  While I have no reason to believe that the laundry list of things they wanted to repair was in any way bogus, the price they wanted to charge her was easily over twice the going rate, and they seemed to pick the most expensive repair possible.  For ex., noisy bearing, replace the whole hub.  I have no idea of the quality of work this shop may perform, but I can say that their prices are outrageous.  If you want to pay more than twice the going rate for repairs, this is the place to take your car.  I suspect it will cost you no more to take your car to the dealer.
We ended up paying another $50 for tire rotation and balancing, which improved the problem to some extent.  What annoyed me is that I had only authorized the diagnostic.  They did the balance and rotation without my permission.  They asked my daughter if she wanted it, but failed to tell her it was at an additional cost.   I can definitely say we won't be taking our car back to them again.
Response from Virginia Auto Service
"Since you reviewed Virginia Auto Service, I have tried to contact you multiple time to discuss your concerns. Neither you nor your daughter has responded. I’m a bit confused by your review of my shop. Your daughter is the one who brought the car in for service and repair. You never came in or talked to anyone at Virginia Auto. It is quite misleading to say we did work you did not authorize. Additionally since you never spoke to anyone here about the repairs your daughter car needs; how would you expect you to know why we replace the hub assembly as opposed to just the bearing, the quality of our work or what actually transpired while she was here? Your daughter was informed of the charges, in advance, for the tire balancing of $49, for the “shimmy” problem and a separate Diagnosis/Inspection of $54 for the cause of her growling (noise that turned about to be a faulty bearing hub assembly) and A complete inspection of the vehicle to make sure it would be safe for her impending drive/move to San Diego. We provided your daughter value for her money by giving her an honest, thorough evaluation of her car to identify and solve the problems she was having as well as make sure she would have a safe and drive across the desert to San Diego. I would still like to chat with you to further address any concerns you may have. Please don’t forget…There are repairs the NEED to be done on the car. I know they won’t be performed here; however they NEED to be done. The wheel bearing is bad and the brakes are nearly worn out on the rear. I hope you would also consider your evaluation of Virginia Auto Service. Sincerely, Matt Allen Virginia Auto Service"
