"Thank you for leaving us a review! We always enjoy seeing you!"
"Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It's our pleasure to serve you!"
"We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. We pride ourselves in taking care of our customers as if they were our own mom or dad. Thank you again for stopping by!"
We ended up paying another $50 for tire rotation and balancing, which improved the problem to some extent. What annoyed me is that I had only authorized the diagnostic. They did the balance and rotation without my permission. They asked my daughter if she wanted it, but failed to tell her it was at an additional cost. I can definitely say we won't be taking our car back to them again.
"Since you reviewed Virginia Auto Service, I have tried to contact you multiple time to discuss your concerns. Neither you nor your daughter has responded. I’m a bit confused by your review of my shop. Your daughter is the one who brought the car in for service and repair. You never came in or talked to anyone at Virginia Auto. It is quite misleading to say we did work you did not authorize. Additionally since you never spoke to anyone here about the repairs your daughter car needs; how would you expect you to know why we replace the hub assembly as opposed to just the bearing, the quality of our work or what actually transpired while she was here? Your daughter was informed of the charges, in advance, for the tire balancing of $49, for the “shimmy” problem and a separate Diagnosis/Inspection of $54 for the cause of her growling (noise that turned about to be a faulty bearing hub assembly) and A complete inspection of the vehicle to make sure it would be safe for her impending drive/move to San Diego. We provided your daughter value for her money by giving her an honest, thorough evaluation of her car to identify and solve the problems she was having as well as make sure she would have a safe and drive across the desert to San Diego. I would still like to chat with you to further address any concerns you may have. Please don’t forget…There are repairs the NEED to be done on the car. I know they won’t be performed here; however they NEED to be done. The wheel bearing is bad and the brakes are nearly worn out on the rear. I hope you would also consider your evaluation of Virginia Auto Service. Sincerely, Matt Allen Virginia Auto Service"
