Showed up on time.  Performed work completely.

I had previously asked if I can purchase what was needed ahead of time due to the fact I am on a fixed income. He told me it should allow plenty of time and shouldn't be that much money. I was floored when he handed me the bill for an additional two hundred and forty two dollars on top of the 99 I had purchased 4 on Angie's List for labor. If I had known ahead of time I could have put money aside.

What he did, he did right, he was very pleasant, very professional, he came and put down the porch light and put a motion sensor light, and another one on my driveway, and it was a deal that I got as well. He completed the job in the time that I had paid for the amount. He was a nice guy, and I was happy with the job that he did. I have nothing negative about him. He was a nice guy. It was a good experience, and he did a good job, and everything has been working ever since. The price I got was great, because I got a deal. I don't know what their normal price would be.

I am happy with the work and I would hire them again. This is a family company and Sean is a third generation electrician.. The only reason I gave a B for punctuality is because he had some truck trouble and wasn't able to come out on time. He did call to let me know, but it did delay my project.

I called Shawn and he promptly answered his call.  We arranged a day and time within a couple days to meet to look over the extent of the project.  He was on time and we agreed on the cost and I handed him keys to come back, since the property was vacant.  He had an opening within a week and we set up the time to start the job.  He had Ray come, he completed the job in a few hours and everything was cleaned up perfectly.  I came back to meet with him.  He explained how he had to wire, since my property was a flat roof and it made the job harder.  We shook hands and a job well done.  I look forward to using their services in the future.  Always honest and polite.

Shawn was very professional and punctual. He performed the installation quickly and was careful to maintain property.

Shawn called to say he was on his way.  Asked if he could come earlier than we had agreed. A very pleasant man and very organized.  He has everything he needs on his truck.  We had communicated as to what parts I had already purchased, so he had inventory on his truck that would accommodate any type of part that might come up missing.  He is quick, cleans up everything, and makes sure you are happy before each project is signed off on.  I cannot say enough how he takes pride in his work and wants to insure that his customer is happy before he leaves.  No one could ask for more.  I know I can count on him in the future for any type of Electrical project that may arise.

It turned out okay. It was a little bit expensive than I thought. I think it was 2 hours of service. Unfortunately, one of those hours was trip charge, pretty much. It was kinda misleading a little bit.  We had a little bit of a problem. Initially, I think one of the Angie’s List customers booked 2 appointments with him which I think they’re only supposed to book one per household. So he kinda got jammed up with his scheduling and it was about a week later that he was finally able to come out. I was just kinda inconvenienced.

He was awesome. He was really really good. He worked really hard. He did exactly what we needed him to do. He is really friendly. I would definitely recommend them. The price was really really good. He was very efficient and did good work. I wasn't here when he got here, my husband was. He answered all our questions.
I would use them again.

THERE WAS NO DISCLOSURE OF ADDITIONAL COSTS UNTIL AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETED. HAD I BEEN INFORMED OF THE ADDITIONAL EXPENSES AND FEES, I WOULD HAVE DECLINED. PAYING $38.00 FOR 10 FEET OF ROMEX WIRE SEEMED EXCESSIVE. ESPECIALLY AFTER PREPAYING $99.00 FOR 2 HOURS OF ELECTRICAL LABOR AND ONLY REQUIRING 1 HOUR AND 15 MINUTES OF THE ELECTRICIAN'S TIME.

Very happy with this company. I am so excited that I now have an electrician to call when I need one. I will continue to use VIP Electric for all of my electrical needs. Shawn is a very personable and friendly guy. He not only changed out my worn out outlets and repaired kitchen lights, but had numerous suggestions for me when asking about upgrades to my kitchen lighting problems. And he doesn't overcharge.
