Description of Work: The 2 person crew was great. Showed up on time and were cheerful. Moved from a storage unit to an apartment and another apartment to the new apartment. They were quick and knew just what to do. Would use them again in a minute!

+ -1 moreThe responsiveness and availability was excellent. We were able to schedule a move on the day that we wanted with just a couple of days' notice. The two men arrived promptly at the start of the arrival time range (half an hour of leeway), walked around to evaluate everything and started to work right away. They were both courteous, friendly and very accommodating. The problem is that for a company whose tag line is and quot;movers that careand quot;, we had far too many dents, scratches and marks on both pieces of furniture and the walls in the new place. Perhaps this is because they might have been rushing to finish up the job, even if they charge by the hour. As smoothly as it went when dealing with both the office and the movers on moving day, the marks left on the furniture will remind us not to use this company again.

Description of Work: i was in the army for 24 years and prior to that my father was in the army. i do not think i can identify a great move this company was great . they came when the said they would and finished within 15 minutes of when they said they would be done. the two young men where very neatly dressed , turned out and repectful of me and my property.

Description of Work: We received an estimate from Two Men and a Truck to move a 4 bdrm home from Phoenix to Tucson. There was a mix-up in scheduling apparently as the estimator missed the time window we agreed to and I had to call and remind him. He showed up promptly thereafter. We opted for another company because their hourly rates were less expensive. We might decide to use this company in the future but not on this particular occasion.

+ -1 moreThey sent three guys, when we only requested two. However, their experience told them they needed the extra person. No charge for the extra person. The team arrived on time, which is a BIG deal in my world. The guys were professional and courteous. I'm sure they were a lil overwhelmed at first because we don't have light, dainty furniture. They had to disassemble and lug out HUGE pieces of furniture and they handled the job extremelly well. The real test was trying to get our refrigerator into a space that really was only for a single door refrigerator. They got creative and slid it over the counter tops with the caveat the counters may be damaged. Since we are replacing them anyway, it was a no brainer. No damage to the counters and the fridge is perfect. So yes, I would definitely hire them again They worked their behinds off for us. It was great value, particularly for the amount of furniture and boxes we had and the team's upbeat attitude.
Description of Work: We hired this company to move a 4 bedroom houseful of extremely large and awkward to move pieces of furniture as well as many, many boxes which had already been packed up. We had some odds and ends we asked them to try to squeeze in, and they managed well without any damage to anything. It was a big job. UPDATE October 2011: We hired the company again to come move our big furniture from our garage into our newly remodeled areas. Again, very pleased with the crew they sent...hard workers and good humour.

+ -1 moreMike came out in person to give us a price on the moving. I liked the fact that he actually saw in person what we were moving; everyone else tried to quote us a price over the phone. He communicated with us in a timely manner and his crew arrived on time as promissed. They were careful wrapping our furniture and seemed to care about our satisfaction with their work. Since we only had a small load our items were stored at their facility until they had room on a truck going our direction. It was only 2 or 3 days before our load was on the road to Indiana. They communicated with us during their travel and arrived at the time and day they promissed. I would have given them an overall rating of A but a couple of items were damaged during the move. An ornamental piece was broken off on a small antique table and a dresser mirror was broken upon arrival. They were quick to remedy the situation though so I think an A/B rating is appropriate.
Description of Work: Provided moving services from Arizona to Indiana for a few items we were bringing home after the death of a relative.

Description of Work: I moved myself, but I had a few large/heavy items including a large twelve drawer dresser, a corner dresser and a two drawer dresser and a small gun safe moved by the company. The three furniture items cost over $6,000 and are "heirloom" quality. Some of the items were damaged, it looks like they rubbed against each other in the truck. I didn't unwrap them to look until after everything was done and don't have time to mess with it, but I would have moved it all myself and saved the money but I wanted it moved carefully and flawlessly. The two guys helping remodel know the guy who apparently started the company, he lives in Texas and they went on and on about Two Men and a Truck. They must be different regionally. The company is extremely professional, but the movers had damaged some items. Also, when the gun safe was slid into it's cabinet, it left scratches. Again, I could have done a better job myself and the whole point was getting the pros to make sure it was done right.

+ -1 morePunctual - showed up when they did, set themselves up to be most time efficient in loading. Wrapped and loaded everything carefully. Informed me when they were taking breaks. At the UHaul storage facility, they knew the place and were able to advise on how best to load all the items into the limited storage space. Nothing damaged, dropped or broken. Very pleasant guys!
