Luis and his crew showed up on time at 7am and finished by 11:30am. They protected everything with plastic, vacuumed up all the dust and left the whole place very clean. I was really amazed by what a great job they did so quickly. Luis was very professional and responsive to all my questions. I would highly recommend Tile Removal Crew and I would use them again if I needed too. I thought they did a great job, and it was a great value. Thank you so much Luis.

They were on time, professional, and their price was so much less than other providers that I consulted about removing tile.

He arrived right on time, hung plastic to mask areas where he was working to keep the stray saltillo dust to a minimum, jack-hammered up the saltillo, and left a concrete surface that we could work with to lay luxury vinyl plank. I would definitely hire him again.

There were two things that annoyed me about this job, but before I get into that - I have to say that the crew did the job and did it well. There of course was a massive about of dust everywhere, even on the cabinets they tried to cover, however I guess it almost goes without saying that you are going to have to wipe down every wall, surface, blind, windows, etc after tile removal to rid your home of that thick layer of dust. The floors were ready for new flooring, nice and smooth, though there was also still piles of dust on the floor that I wish I had a shop vac to remove.

Luis is very good to work with, he gave me a great rate - and they were able to come out very quickly to do the work. Best of all, they did it in under a day!!! No destructive removal, just a nice smooth slab with some previous damage from other flooring products. Did I mention they were on time, if not a few minute early? That's always a nice surprise.

My two issues were more along the lines of logistics/communications, and potentially this is on me.

1> When Luis arrived he mentioned that payment would be required in Cash. This was quite a shock to me, as I don't carry $2,300 in cash with me. I was expecting to write a check or use a card, but he told me he needed to pay his guys and that wouldn't work. So instead of going to work that morning, I spent the next two hours on the phone with my out of state bank getting approvals to run to ATM after ATM so I could pull out $2,300 bucks - in 20 dollar bills. Luis said he mentioned this to me when he gave me the quote, and it's entirely possible that I missed that while I was thinking over the numbers. I also use a federal credit union that doesn't have branches here, so most folks could have done a branch withdrawal, whereas I could not. So again, that's on me.

2> When getting the quote, I said it was approximately 2000 square feet, however I wasn't doing all the rooms, so probably a bit less. He pulled up the home on a site and saw an even larger number, however I advised him that during the appraisal the measured square footage was less than what the agent listed on MLS. So when the job was done, I paid for 2000 square feet. Well, when I went to have hardwood installed where the tile had been, the measure was less than 1,700 square feet. So - I essentially paid for 300 square feet of tile removal and haul away that didn't happen. Now, this was again a lesson for me. I just assumed they would measure, however I didn't confirm that. I could have also measured myself, and didn't do that. So - I can't totally blame Luis for operating off of the approximate number I gave him. The rate I received was still extremely competitive, so I still feel like I received a good deal.

So all in all the work was great, wish more could be done for dust cleanup, and the logistics of payment and square footage were a little annoying - for reasons that I largely take responsibility for. The most important part was that they did the work well and were professional - and I simply have to give them credit for that.

It went really well. He removed 192 sq ft of tile. Louis was called and was over the very next day to complete the service. He did a fantastic job and the space already looks two times bigger. He cleaned the floor so that we will be able to tile without any prior cleanup. It took him about three hours where it would have taken us at least a day.

Awesome experience and highly recommended. Very professional. Work was performed on time and within days of being called. Workers were polite and worked diligently to get the job done. Nothing remained on the floor when done. It was ready for the new flooring. Excellent !!

I contacted Luis about tile removal and within a day we had a time set up sight unseen(although I did provide a good description with accurate area). They were supposed to show up at 7am and showed up at 6:59am. Amazing. Luis taped off the kitchen and put protective barriers down on the cabinet feet/tops. Work was completed by 12:00 with fresh concrete. My tile guy was impressed with the work they did and had nearly no prep work to to before laying tile. I will definately be using Luis for the other 2 bathrooms that need tile removal in the future.

Luis and crew removed 900 sq ft of ceramic tile from the floors in our house. They also removed tile from the wall surrounding the bathtub. I spoke to Luis a couple of times prior to the actual removal date to talk about pricing, what work I wanted done, and to schedule a date. Luis and crew arrived at 7 am as agreed upon. They worked quickly and efficiently. All work and clean up was done by 1:30 pm. After removing all the tile, they cleaned up the effected rooms. The concrete floors and window sills were cleaned of tile dust. They removed all the tile from the premises. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have tile removed.

Fantastic. Luis has great follow up and scheduling. Was hesitant because of few reviews, but was totally impressed. Luis and his crew showed up exactly on time for the 2 day job. The 6 guys knocked out everything in 1.5 days time. No one smoked, everyone was polite, couldn't be any happier with this company. Extremely clean and no one smoked or sat around on their cell phones.

The guys were great. On time, friendly, professional, and did great quality work.

Luis called after I emailed to set appointment. He came and confirmed the tile to be removed and then he brought in tools and tile is gone:)
